We first stayed at this property four years ago and loved it so much that we couldn't wait to return. Unfortunately, our experience this time around was a bit disappointing, as the house doesn't seem to have been kept up to par over the years.The Highlights• Excellent Layout: The house is incredibly spacious, which was perfect for our group.• Privacy: We absolutely love that every bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom—a rare find that makes group travel much easier.• Vibe: The home still feels very welcoming and has a friendly atmosphere.Areas for Improvement:While the bones of the house are great, several issues impacted our stay:• Maintenance: The door to the main floor master bathroom wouldn’t stay closed or lock; it kept springing open, which was a significant privacy issue.• Sleep Quality: The mattresses are definitely showing their age. Everyone in our group had a difficult time sleeping on them, and they are likely due for replacement.• Missing Essentials: The house lacked simple cleaning supplies. We couldn't find a vacuum cleaner to tidy up during our stay, and there were no extra dish sponges or basic cleanup items provided.We have fond memories of this home, but it currently feels a bit neglected. With some new mattresses, a few repairs, and better stocking of household essentials, it could easily be a 5-star stay again.
