Decent room, helpful staff. Only got let down by the non-working phone in the room 828, have to walk all the way to the reception to get the hair conditioner.

Staff were excellent, location is pretty good and the bathroom and toiletries were good quality. There was an event on and the sound-proofing wasn't that great. But the main reason for the average rating was the mattress, which my partner in particular found very uncomfortable. Disappointing for what was otherwise a nice hotel.

Beautiful room and within walking distance to the shops and the hippodrome. Food in restaurant was lovely and staff were accommodating. Will definitely stay there again. I think the Downside was the distance from both the coach station (10 minute walk) and Bristol Temple Meads train station.
