One cannot say they have fully experienced England without a trip to its countryside. Toghill House Farm is a family owned business that truly epitomizes English warmth from its cozy rich historic building to the owner and staffâs hospitality and the peaceful ambiance only one can experience in the country at the same time just a stones throw away from Bath. Toghill House Farm is a refuge for one looking to find tranquility
Maybe info/text to say use second car park, sat nav took us to ist. Also maybe info/text to say what room and where key will be. Excellent room breakfast service cleanliness. Thank you.
The farm is beautiful. Our kids loved staying on a working farm. The rooms are beautiful as is the local scenery. The farm is convenient for Bath and there a lots of lovely local restaurants/pubs. If we're ever back from Oz we will be rebooking Toghill House Farm
Travelled to Bristol as our daughter was on a residential trip so my wife and I decided to have a short break ourselves. Emailed the farm to let them know that we would be checking in later on the evening. Laura emailed me back within the hour giving me instructions if I was going to be later than anticipated. Arrived around 7.15pm to be greeted by Laura. Gave us the keys and showed us to our accommodation which was in the barn, room 11. The room was very clean and plenty of tea and coffee if you needed it. Had a good night's sleep after a long day. Went to breakfast where you could help yourselves to fruit, cereals, tea and coffee. To top it off we were then served with a delicious full English breakfast as well as toast. Couldn't fault the accommodation or the food and went out of their way to make sure everything was okay. Can highly recommend Toghill Farm and would have no hesitation in staying there in the future.
Lovely stay, we stayed in the large family room, which was lovely and clean (one bed a bit wobbly) friendly staff, lovely breakfast, we enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night. Got the park and ride into Bath, very easy to do from here.
Stayed for one night in a loft room, terrible nights sleep, felt every spring in the mattress. No mirror over the sink for partner to use when shaving. Full length mirror covered in rust spots and overhead light shone orange making it difficult to apply makeup. Breakfast was lovely (it would have been helpful if waitress had explained about cereals/fruit etc also available). Breakfast room is very tired with peeling wallpaper and plaster. Disappointing when leaving that no one checked how our stay had been or thanked us for staying.
This setting was perfect for being nearby to family in Warmley. The room was so comfy and warm. The doggies loved the setting too and we found the attention to detail for us all lovely. We love rural areas and this is a beautiful spot in Wick to stay in. Breakfast was gorgeous. Wish we could have stayed an extra night. We will book here again. Itâs brilliant for us.
We absolutely LOVE this house farm. We stayed in the Stable and it was lovely! They are second generation owners and they really know their stuff! To say âweâll be backâ is an understatement!
Lovely location, and ideal for a trip to either Bath or Bristol. Check in was easy (instructions and keys left in an envelope in porch of the main house).
Room was comfortable, we were in Room 12 in one of the converted barns. Plenty of tea, coffee, toiletries etc.
Full English Breakfast served in the main house was excellent (other options offered) with good local products.
Laura was very helpful and friendly.
Overall a relaxing pleasant stay in a beautiful location.
Beautiful place and Laura very friendly and helpful. Really appreciated the flexibility around check-in and breakfast. Easy to get to from Cotswolds way for walkers. The lack of a car in the evening was a little tricky for finding/getting to and from somewhere for dinner.
