The property was very clean, tidy and quiet despite being adjacent to the 401. Staff were friendly and the service was great. We were impressed by everything except the tiny breakfast area which was quickly crowded. An in room coffee maker would have been appreciated.

We stayed for the Tall Ship Festival and the location was great. Shuttle straight from the hotel is an excellent bonus. Breakfast was good but small things would have madenit great. Coffee was very weak and there was no cream. Had to take milk from cereal pitcher as no milk for coffee was provided. Apples were not fresh and we were told they were "sold out" of yogurt with breakfast still available for another 2 hours. These small issues did not by any means ruin our stay though. Beds were very comfortable and I really liked the bathroom products. I look forward to staying here again when I am back in the area.

Room was clean, bed was comfy and staff were nice. Continental breakfast was just okay, but I really liked the 24/7 coffee/tea. My only complaint as you will see in the pictures is that there are no drawers anywhere to be able to unpack some items.

False Advertising and Ants in the Room

We were on an extended road trip and stayed at multiple different hotels and inns. We had high expectations on Spark by Hilton because of its brand name and previous experiences at other locations. However, out of all of our stays, Spark by Hilton was, unfortunately, the most DISAPPOINTING. We specifically looked for hotels and inns that offered two things: breakfast included and a room with a sofa. Turned out the breakfast was sad. It was extremely limited and far below the standard we experienced at every other hotel on our trip. When booking this hotel, the first image of the room clearly showed a one-seat sofa/chaise. However, upon arrival, we were told by staff that no rooms at this hotel actually include a sofa or chaise! This was incredibly frustrating, as the online images misrepresented the room offerings, which is a clear case of FALSE ADVERTISING that directly impacted our booking decision. Had we known the sofa wasn’t actually part of the room, we wouldn’t have chosen this hotel. But the most alarming issue was cleanliness. There were POOLS OF ANTS in the room, crawling in and out of holes from the wall, very disgusting. This was completely unexpected and unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one under the Hilton name. We have never encountered anything like this at other places. On a positive note, the front desk and housekeeping staff were generally kind and helpful, which we appreciated. However, this couldn’t make up for the overall poor experience.

Very clean and comfortable hotel, only downside is no elevator and no automatic doors from lobby to hallways, makes it hard to circulate with luggage.
