we stayed for 2 nights here during july, the cabin was super cozy, easy to find, and the battery pack to the fan was our favorite part haha. hopefully get to visit again in the winter!
Great place! Everything we needed and more was available! Property owners made sure to check in with us! Very accommodating with providing basic kitchen needs and bedding, much appreciated!
Such a cool way to stay! I was impressed that the yurt was warm when we arrived (it was raining and in the 40s outside). Wood stove did a great job of heating the structure. Lots of great little details and a lot of thought went into comfort. Will be back!
Family of 4 plus our dog enjoyed our 2 nights here in March. Location is right off a main road but far enough you dont hear it. It was a quick mental break for us. It was well worth it. Just enjoyed family time and nature. There is absolutely no electricity! But gallons of water is provided and propane lights are inside the yurt. Lots of family games are there and chairs for outside. Enough fire wood was provided for the pit outside in the cold weather and inside for the woord stove. The wood stove kept it very nice and warm. Super cute inside. The owners are very nice as well.
This is my second stay in the Yurtâs, my boyfriendâs 3rd stay. We absolutely love it up here, got to play classic games together, have some alone/ reset time. Itâs nice being able to get away at least for a couple days
Only did an overnight but loved it. Well appointed. Very private. My dog (who doesnât like other dogs- but heâs 20 pounds so not a threat) could roam. Good heat from very effective wood furnace. Responsive host. Comfortable bed and bedding. A couple of little things- but really fun private place
My family had a great time at The Allie Mae Yurt! Star gazing at its finest, cozy wood stove, the yurt has everything you need for a wonderful off grid experience!! We would love to visit again!!
This is perfect for campers who are prepared to camp. The yurt had a campground vibe with no electricity, running (or hot) water, wifi or even cell signal. The porta potty was clean, camping gear provided like headlamps etc. Main issue was that the outdoor shower was completely run down, the (obviously very cold) water is stored in a trash can, the water pressure is low, and the palette to stand on was extremely flimsy. The owners should seriously invest in even marginally better materials to enhance the shower. There were also spiderwebs and a huge spider inside of the yurt. The outside area overall was fantastic, the trails were great around the property & were beautiful and fairly well maintained. Iâd prefer to stay at another spot though with a nicer shower, electricity, & hot water preferably. Iâd give this like 3.7 out of 5 stars.
This property was a lot of fun to stay at. We got there during the remnants of Hurricane Debby. The home was dry as a bone. Eay to find even during heavy rain. We had to turn the gas off for the lamps because it
Such an awesome property to visit! Owner provided clear direction to get to the property and signs on site made it easy to find Allie Mae. Having wood provided for camp fire made it so easy. Trails made for an awesome morning walk. Would love to visit again!
Spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Such great experience, definitely will be back. Location was far enough from city to feel you were deep in woods but close enough to go out if you forgot something.
The yurt was tucked back in the woods and we were able to drive right up to the front door. A warm fire was already started by hosts with plenty of wood for our time there. There is plenty of lighting in the yurt. A plethora of cooking supplies and dish ware. There is no fire pit in the winter which we were bummed about but there was a grill. There were snowshoes available to hike around the large property. The other yurt was far enough away that we never saw the other guests. Thank you for our beautiful stay!
