Great Stay!

We had the best time ever. Hotel was clean and tidy-staff was always helpful and kind. Breakfast was standard and ready ay 6am. We checked in early and out late. We wanted to stay longer. =)

Odd smell in room. Small beds. You would think they could spring for one queen one full for parents and kids or three people. Outlets by bed we so loose the charging blocks would fall out and never made contact ( we are a cell charger world now). Bring extension cords to plug in accessories (cpap chargers). The bed was 1 one foot from AC so ice cold air on one person was rough. Turn off get hot. Turn on freeze one person.. Sink in room tough. In way when trying to use. Look at other places for better.

The staff was incredible, so friendly and helpful. We loved our stay. The direct beach access and being right next door to the bike rentals meant we never touched our car. The room was clean and we loved that the sink was outside the bathroom so it was easier to share a single bathroom.

I don't know where to start. I'm not generally one to stay at a days in ( previous negative visits ) I looked at the website , read the reviews and took a leap of faith . I'm so Happy I did !! This motel was fabulous. Recently renovated , easy check in , warm and welcoming staff from the front desk to the maintenance crew. My room was very clean, I found the beds and pillows To be very comfortable. Breakfast was your basic eggs, meat breads oatmeal and juice. To my disappointment, most hotels are moving away from the waffles to the pancake maker. Not my favorite. Pour some syrup on cardboard. The grounds are well maintained. The pools and patio furniture cleaned daily. Only one pool was opened during my stay. The beach is a very short walk. ** My one recommendation, if you're going to pay extra for an ocean view room get one on the second floor. The ocean is Not visible from the first 1st floor primarily because of the sand dunes. The island is beautiful and there is plenty to explore. Remember, you're on island time ! Enjoy
