If you love the low country, there is no better place to stay than Emma's Driftwood Farm. From the comfort of the accommodations at The Ranch House and the thoughtful personal touches (charcuterie board and wine upon arrival, honey made on the Farm, local chocolates, etc. etc.) to the grounds, it's like stepping back in time and far from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We couldn't have picked a better place to bid 2021 farewell and ring in a New Year.
The docks also are great for crabbing and fishing (they also supply everything you need to enjoy those activities, too!) and taking in the fresh air and incredible unobstructed views. We also brought our boat and kept it docked; it was the perfect jumping off point for exploring the area by water, including a New Year's Day hike on Sapelo Island. The property manager, John, and groundskeeper, Hunter, also are simply lovely humans. They were incredibly friendly and hospitable, and very easy to reach whenever we had a question.
We cannot recommend Emma's Driftwood Farm enough and we look forward to our next visit when even more amenities will be available to guests. Thank you for sharing such a breathtaking place with the rest of the world!
