Great location. Helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are comfortable and have good amenities (iron, hairdryer, shampoo, hand lotion etc) and are really nicely laid out to separate the sleeping area and to try to keep you away from possible noise from the corridor as well. Decent cold breakfast and drinks/snacks can be purchased onsite too which is really convenient.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on a business trip, and overall, the experience was okay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, but nothing really stood out in a positive way. On the first day, I noticed that the shampoo bottle was almost empty. When I asked reception for a replacement, I was told I should continue squeezing out the last drops and that it could only be refilled the next day during housekeeping. On my second night, I returned to the hotel and was informed there would be no hot water. The staff offered to move me to another property either in the city center or in Ixelles 1050, but it was 22:15 and I had already booked an early morning pickup service from this location, moving wasn’t practical. I decided to stay, and the next morning found an apology slip left on the floor outside my room. The room itself was generally clean, but a few details were disappointing. The air conditioner was covered in dust and clearly needed maintenance. The telephone was disconnected, making it impossible to call reception, and when I turned on the TV it still displayed the previous guest’s name, which gave a careless impression. Overall, for a short business trip the stay was manageable, but the lack of attention to detail and small inconveniences left me underwhelmed.

We had an excellent experience at Aloft. Hotel was clean, rooms are large, and check-in/check-out process was very easy. In a very nice part of the city. Would definitely recommend.

The rooms are spacious, especially for Europe, and well-designed, with a large flat screen TV, wide desk, fridge, and a big window that opens. It’s close to the EU campus. Sightseeing requires a 30-minute walk to the city center or taking nearby public transportation. Only two minor complaints. At check-in, we requested daily cleaning but did not get it the first morning. After that, we requested in person at the front desk each morning to ensure the room was cleaned. The other problem: the rain shower is great but we had to run the water for 5 minutes until the temperature stopped fluctuating between extreme hot and cold. This was while the tap handle remained in place. Seems like a strange plumbing problem for a newish facility. But all-in-all, a pleasant stay, a recommended place.
