The hotel is rather run down and, judging from the floor plan on the back of the door, they gave me one of the worst rooms, with a window onto an airshaft. They share the airshaft with a noisy family–a man who argues on the phone and a woman who coughs as though she is deathly ill. The room has Raw plywood furniture. The mattress and pillows were ok, but in general the place is kind of sad.

Overall a good place to stay while visiting Brussels. In between the Central and Midi stations. Easy walk to central part of the city (Grand Palace). Would recommend.

We really liked the location and design of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and I appreciated the effort to use quality, local ingredients. Rooms were beautifully presented and the hotel was kept immaculate by a friendly team of cleaning staff. Only issue was with the member of staff who was at reception on the day we arrived and following morning, on the three occasions we spoke with him, we were made to feel very unwelcome and almost disliked, ended up questioning whether it was because we didn't speak the language. His behaviour seemed to be very contrary to the friendly, welcoming vibe from all the email correspondence, bit of a shame.

We loved this charming hotel! The staff was extremely friendly and the room was very comfortable. The area around the hotel is great but it was also walkable to everything we wanted to see in Brussels. We didn't eat at the restaurant but it looked like a great spot. We would definitely stay here again!
