The house was clean and the view was beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub and the flat top grill. We could not figure out how to turn the gas logs on but the cabin was marvelous. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone.
Everything was great! Just a little gnat problem but everyone in the south has that problem during this time, hot tube was beautiful. Only complaint was getting text that the cabin was 105 fox ridge but it was 250 Fox Ridge and when putting in the address it would automatically change it to 390.
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The host was quick to respond and ever so kind! We were going to grill hamburgers and the propane had run out. I messaged Mr Billy and he sent the maintenance man within 10 min! Thereâs not much of Mountain View as the trees are pretty tall but there is a little view from the hot tub! Over all it was a fun weekend and the cabin was great!
We loved our anniversary getaway at the cabin, including the hot tub, the king sized bed in the loft, and the easy booking process. The cabin is very secluded and has lots of privacy even on the balcony, at least in late summer. We will be back!
Love the cabin and location! Could use some outside lights, and there is NO WIFi! Not an issue, just wasnât aware until arrival. Very clean, well maintained.
Although this cabin was beautiful and had a wonderful hot tub, my family experienced a very bad case of being bitten by bed bugs. Myself and one of my granddaughters were bitten the worst and we slept upstairs in the loft bedroom. I have notified the realty company and sent pictures. I will be asking to be compensated. They need to have pest control come out immediately.
Was a very comfortable cabin and enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was great and welcome after a day of hiking and sightseeing. The location is great although a bit steep getting into the cabin. A couple of things that would have made it perfectâŠ.instructions on how to use the hot tub and tvsâŠcouldnât get the internet to work and all it said was reset the router but no mention of where the router was located, etc⊠No details on using the hot tub eitherâŠkitchen was fairly well equipped but the coffee maker wasnât the best so I would bring your own. Very peaceful place and overall enjoyable experience!
Well appointed clean and comfortable cabin. Hot Tub at night in the snow after a day of hiking was fantastic and the snow was a nice bonus on the Wifeâs birthday. Close to Bryson, Cherokee, hiking trails and waterfall viewing.Yes, the road up to the cabin is steep in places but not too difficult after you drive it a time or two. We came in our first time at night - I donât recommend that. Google Maps brought us straight to the driveway, but make sure you have written instructions just in case. Notes: Things to bringBring your own coffee. A robe or beach towel if youâre planning on using the hot tub. A sense of adventure.Things to See.Hike Deep Creek and Juney Wank Falls nearby in Bryson.Walk around BrysonDonât miss Mingo Falls in Cherokee. Short steep hike but a must see. Drive US 129 Tail of the DragonStop by a creek and get in the water. If we can do it in March you can certainly do it in the Spring and Summer months. Places to eat:Everettâs Diner in Bryson - get the biscuits and gravy. Find a food truck in Bryson and eat your meal at Mountain Layers brewing CO on the rooftop deck while enjoying a craft beer.Drive to Cherokee and eat at Gordon Ramseyâs Truffles Pub. It did not disappoint. Just relax at the cabin and grill something. Definitely recommend this cabin for couples or small groups
This cabin was cozy, quaint, and the location was terrific. The cabin was clean, the wrap-around deck was awesome, the firepit is in a good location, and the hot tub was our favorite amenity. The queen bed up on the loft is situated just right to see out of the floor to ceiling windows on the far wall. Overall, we will consider this cabin for our next mountain getaway trip.
A little slice of Heaven tucked in the mountainside
9/10 would stay here again. The location was close enough, yet also made it seem like you were in the midst of serenity. The only reason for the 9/10 is the hair pin turns on the treacherous mountain roads to get there. Iâm thankful we had a 4 wheel drive truck! The hot tub on the deck was the perfect spot to watch the sun set in the evenings. The campfires each night were perfect for listening to the wildlife.
Perfect!! Absolutely Perfect!
The first day we started the grill and alas it was out of propane. I emailed and abracadabra it was replaced. We couldn't get the ceiling fans to work. (Batteries I think for the remote) But everything else worked perfectly. The hot tub . . . OMGoodness. Lovely, speakers, jets, roominess.
Only downfall was the drive way. Careful for the hole that is forming where the pavement meets the driveway.
Thank you so much!
P.S. Someone please check the boards on the deck. One is not screwed down. Thank you
This place had an amazing view which we enjoyed every morning and evening. This place was easy to get to the Smokies and Bryson. We were surprised by a newly built deck and Blackstone grill! The hot tub was great to use after a day of hiking and really we spent more time at our cabin than we thought we would since it was so nice!
The cabin is awesome, very clean. It has everything you need. We had plenty of towels, etc. The bathroom upstairs has heated floors. Big closets ,washer and dryer. Its very nice looks just like the pictures. The hottub is amazing, very relaxing. My overall stay was excellent.
This cabin is awesome in the winter. The fireplace quickly warms up the cozy loft where the king size bed is. The bathroom tile in that upstairs bathroom is heated also! We hiked a trail on the property. Hot tub was huge with awesome jets and blue lights at night. The furniture is different than the listing pics. Itâs cloth furniture. Kitchen well equipped. Could use new skillets. Tons of coffee filters in the cabinet for the coffee pot, no need to buy any like we did! We saw deer one morning. Heard coyotes which got the dogs on the mountain barking while sitting by the firepit. We loved that. Peaceful mornings with a view and birds singing. Even tho we could see other cabins because no leaves on the trees at wintertime, it felt private. We enjoyed it very much. Thank you.
Was an ok stay we had a tornado blow threw the rain was so bad the big window on front leaked the direct TV didn't work half of the time and the Roku had most of the channels block we had to soak up water with our towels cause there were no mops the grill was awesome and the hot tub was great the road is very narrow and curvy not a big parking space recommend driving in the day light road was hard to drive on after dark
We stay frequently in Vrbos in the area. This was one of our favorites. It might be difficult to access in winter if there is snow bc the road is so steep. It was otherwise terrific.
We had a great time. The house Was clean and comfortable but lacking in the maintenance department. We had a hard time with the tv wanting to Reboot and it was pretty steep to walk or hike. Thank you though we enjoyed ourselves!!
Despite a few hiccups upon check-in, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It had everything that we were looking for in a cabin. The road is very steep leading up to the cabin, so we would not recommend a smaller vehicle that does not handle steep gravel roads. Another suggestion: bring your own firewood and propane for the grill. Beautiful views and peaceful environment. We will stay again!
