It’s a room in an old building. Elevator holds 2people if you don’t manually close the bifold door properly, you will get stuck in between floors in the elevator and it will not move. It’s an Air B&B. The room is very modern and clean but didn’t expect to pay so much in Romania for room in a old dirty building.i felt unsafe going to my room. The only good thing about it is it’s walking distance to old town.

The property is in the heart of Bucharest. Well equiped, modern, it offers all you need for a good stay. Recommend adding instructions on the wall for operating the stove. The Europian style ( child protection) is not known to 3rd world countries (like America). Good price too.

Bucharest appartment

Downtown Bucharest, close to old town, lots of patios, restaurants. Spotless, modern design. No flexibility for check in-out. Cannot leave luggage if you arrive early of leave late. They give you the code to the appartment last minute. For 2 hours late check out they charge 20 euros. Of course they have virtual assistent. You can here traffic overnight

The apartment itself was not bad. Except for the air conditioner made grinding noises if set below 19 Celsius. But the scary and even dangerous part was the elevator didn’t work and there was very little lighting in the staircase and halls.

The actual room itself is okay for a couple of nights maximum. We did find however that only one of us was able to shower for 5 minutes before the water went cold, meaning only one of us could have a warm shower in the morning. The owner gave really good instructions of how to locate the property and get keys etc which was helpful. Arriving at the property was a shock with the entrance and stairwell extremely dark and sketchy, making us feel slightly unsafe. This seemed contrasting to the photos on the booking, had we seen this we wouldn’t have booked. Such a shame because the location of the apartment itself is so good for walking into the Old Town.

Very good value for price.

The entrance into the apartment blocks and the stairwell are a little scary, but the apartment itself was well presented and very clean, There was a smell of sewage from next door in the shared lobby. but despite this we had a lovely stay.
