The hotel is very nice. The staff is under trained and really lacked any kind of emotion. The room was not totally dated but could use a refresh, Shower head upgrade sofa bed upgrade as the cushions did not fit together and just looked sloppy. Clean wise left some to be desired. We got there and checked the room over and there was some brown dried substance on the toilet seat, hair in the bathtub, my children’s new white socks were brown on the bottom from the carpet. The breakfast buffet was interesting. The eggs were flavorless the bacon was tissue paper thin and shredded. There were multiple slices of bread with green mold. The tortillas for breakfast were not soft shells they were just a package of hard shells stuck in what’s suppose to be a tortilla warmer. The salsa was soured. The pool had extremely rowdy kids throwing each other in screaming swearing and splashing around my young kids. Complained to the front desk and was told they can try to say something which never got done. The water also smelled like straight bleach to the point our skin was extremely itchy and noses burnt. Extremely disappointed in Hyatt for allowing this quality. Will not stay here again and will advise others not to as well.

Overall this hotel is great. Close proximity to Highmark and Walden Galleria Mall. The room did have a very strong smell of bleach when entering.

#1 Cleanliness was subpar. Hallways need a vacuum really bad. I saw a condom in the middle of the hallway.....the condom was post package ......YUK! EEWWWW! I did report it to the front desk and they did have it removed shortly after. But I stayed 2 night and no vacuum in the hall at all. I'm in the hospitality industry (Management), I know what to look for. #2 The ENTRANCE to the bathroom is a sliding glass door that doesn't give the user any sound or odor/scent privacy. The sliding glass door has spaces around the door when fully closed. AND! The sliding glass door is frosted glass but not solid frosted. It's frosted enough where you can see the silhouette of the user moving around. No bathroom privacy of any kind if you have someone else staying with you. #3 The Shower doors are installed wrong. They dont slide close as they are supposed to. The handles are opposite and on the wrong side. I would give this Hotel Zero Stars but I gave it 2 Stars because they do have an Excellent Breakfast for the guests. Very good presentation and very good food. A large variety of breakfast choices. The Hotel staff was nice and attentive and responsive.

The breakfast wasn't great, the buffet was disorganized and messy, with people leaving their used cups and dishes all around. Other than that, the hotel was nice, clean and updated.
