three night in Suffolk

Pros: Easy access to other roads and in-house dining.
Cons: The beds, duvets and the lights outside the doors could illuminate the numbers.
Location: Lovely location with geese wandering wild on the Green.
Arrived to warm welcome on a cold February afternoon but no heating in our room! A plumber came over and fiddled with the radiator, then said give it time and it will be fine but after another 30 mins. it obviously wasn't so someone else came. He couldn't fix it but gave us a fan heater until someone could sort it the next morning. The room soon warmed up. When we got back the next day, all was fine and the radiator was working! The towels and bed linen were nice and clean but the duvet on the bed was awkward in that it was quite solid and tended to slide off the bed. Neither of us slept very well and woke up with aching backs each morning. However the aches soon disappeared after a nice hot shower. Breakfast was huge and well cooked and presented. The tea and coffee were particularly good. We ate in each night and there was a good choice on the menu. Again, the food was very good. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

trip away with friends

Pros: very nice and clean, good pub grub, nice location
Cons: pillows very flat and bed quite small and uncomfortable
Location: easy to get to Bury and all North Essex/Suffolk locations
We had arranged to have a weekend away with friends to go site-seeing. We were in rooms 1 and 6 which were both double rooms. There was plenty of coffee and the rooms were well heated. We were greeted by a very helpful lady on arrival. All in all a very nice trip.

Friendly pub with b and b

We had a fantastic weekend. The staff were lovely, the food was exceptional. The accommodation was 6 ensuite rooms in the grounds in a chalet fashion, and lovely inside. It was in a very quiet and pretty setting. We're going back in August!!
