Thanks for booking Tessie's Sea Cottage, this is a very special place to me and do hope you enjoy your stay.

About Tessie’s Sea Cottage
Tessie’s Sea Cottage is named in loving memory of my late mum, Tessie. She absolutely adored anything vintage or antique, so I’ve filled the place with pieces that remind me of her. I’m also a maritime sailor, so you’ll spot plenty of nautical touches around the cottage, old-time charm. It’s a cozy, character-filled spot that feels like a little step back in time, with plenty of heart and a dash of ocean spirit.

These are some of the house rules, please familiarise yourself with them.

1. No parties.
2. Please don't eat and drink in the rooms.
3. Please respect the noise curfew, the neighbours are lovely people.
4. Please turn off any heating/cooling.
5. There are a set of keys on the welcoming table just in case.
6. Please take care of the furnishing and other delicate items. Some items are priceless and over 80 years old.
7. Please do the dishes.
8. Please no unregistered guests.
9. Please be limit shower duration. The cottage is fitted with external gas tanks.
10. Slippers are highly encouraged; a storage shoe rack has been provided.
11. Please ensure the bbq is kept clean and the gas is turned off prior to checking out.

Insta camera.
An instant camera has been provided with 10 photo films. Please create loving memories with family and friends. All I ask is that you create these memories within the property. .

Air conditioning
A/C has been provided for the living room, and 2 out of the 3 bedrooms. I will be looking at providing additional air conditioning in the near future in preparation for summer. The A/C in the living room can be a bit noisy and I plan to fix it quite soon.

Coffee machine
Coffee machine is easier to use than it looks. Instructions have been provided.

Books and games
Board games and reading books have been provided in the living room. There are some puzzles in the dining room.
Outdoor games are available in the laundry with instructions.

Fireplace
If you do wish to use the fireplace, please advise and firewood will be sorted. Wood can be sourced at Bunnings or from the local petrol station.

Dishwasher
Please make sure the dishwasher is full before using. Dish washer tablets are available under the sink.

Washer- Please do not overfill washing machine. Tablets are available beneath the sink.

Dryer- Be cautious what is put in the dryer etc wool. There is no coming back from shrinkage.

Fire-extinguisher- A fire extinguisher has been provided in the laundry.

I have added a cutting board in the property. Please do not put them in the dishwasher. I do make them and if you're interested, please find me on instagram @ tidal_timbers. I can do customised sizes
