Lovely staff & building, nice & clean. Furniture in room had lots of handles missing & loose. The fan in the bathroom was very noisy & stayed on long after the light was switched off. Very nice breakfast. Originally had to park on the road before spotting a parking space in grounds. Very handy for the town as long as you don’t mind the hill!

Beautiful tasteful hotel in fantastic green surroundings. Excellent customer service from all staff at the hotel and check was very easy and smooth. Beautiful spacious room and such a fantastic traditional staircase when entering the hotel. Breakfast was amazing and the dining area was so calming & pleasant. Excellent location to all attractions/amenities and very easy to walk on foot to reach the amazing shops, bars and restaurant's.. Loved the Buxton Baths. Highly recommend this hotel and I would come back to this hotel when I visit Buxton again and stay over. Excellent standards and 10 out of 10 ⭐️

Check in was great as the staff are friendly and helpful. The room was good, nice and clean and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was also very nice with a good selection. The hotel is well located in a quiet area and only a ten minute walk to the restaurants, theatre and Pavilion Gardens.

This is a lovely hotel with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff who seemed to take a personal interest in all their guests. It was a pleasure to stay there and our room was beautifully comfortable and spacious. The only drawback was the long climb from the town centre if walking!

Everyone was very friendly. We were offered tea in the lobby by Nicola while relaxing from a neighbourhood walk. Our view from the room looked over the lawn bowling and cricket pitch, very nice. The building is old, with some spongy floors, but that's what we expected. Would definitely stay again. The meals were great and not overpriced.

Ticked all the boxes. Friendly staff…. that interacted with guests beyond a ‘script’. Rooms refurbished. Easy to walk into town. The only thing was my room was next to the lift which was noisy. That said the hotel had no late nighter guests so it stopped been used at reasonable time.
