Fantastic venue located in a quaint, pretty village with the delightful Devonshire Arms pub and friendly pub landlord. The house was beautiful and it was nice to see so many different birds in the gardens. The guys on reception were engaging, warm, friendly and professional as well as informative. The evening meal was delicious and good value. The room was amazing and so was the breakfast. A top retreat for visiting the lovely Dovedale amongst other places where I saw 4 dippers, 2 herons and my first ever chaffinch. Outstanding. Keep up the good job guys and thanks again for everything and making me feel truly valued and welcome. Definitely will recommend you and hope to see you again soon.

Weekend Trip

Only stayed one night at the last minute. Property is beautiful, we upgraded our accommodation as one room became available with the friendly staff. Great remote location with a lovely pub in the village.

A single night short stay. Very impressed. Staff very friendly and basic but clean facilities. Extremely good value for money. Beautiful surroundings and lovely place to stay.
