Staff are nice people. The room was dated, dirty walls and other places that the cleaning staff can't really help. Exposed box spring of the bed. Room key requires a certain je-ne-sais-quoi for it to work on the door. More of a property owner issue? Otherwise, sheets and towels were OK. A/C was cool. Internet was adequate. Shower had hot water and strong pressure. Location was less than 10-minute walk to Praia Grande, just a bit more to Praia de Anjos. Ample parking. Building and property are quaint. It's no Holiday Inn or Motel 8.

I will come back

I will come back, it is a pleasant place to stay, it can be considered a little bit pricey for what it offers but comparing with the rest of arraial, it is a great place. Breakfast is enough, the pool is a great amenity, parking is a great plus, and it is close to the beaches and restaurants. Staff is friendly and willing to help. In general, it is a good deal to stay at Pousada GĂ©nesis.
