House and yard are nice but we experienced unpleasant issues.Front door locking mechanism is faulty and caused great difficulty every time we returned to the house from an outing. The door would stick and jam after entry code was keyed in, and would not open without brute strength and multiple tries. We sent photographs to the host of the mangled lock (metal bent and lock mechanism marred) on our very first day and requested someone to come to the house to fix it. But no one came. The house has a central alarm system on the wall, but absolutely no instructions were available on how to use it. Only a keypad code was given.The internet went out on day five and we reported it to the host, as we had no WiFi and no tv. We reset the router multiple times, which didn't help. On day six, Host sent a very nice but technically untrained young man to fix it. Felt really bad for him because he clearly had no clue what to do (he had no tools, no equipment, no know-how about the issue.) On day seven, we were told the service provider has a technician on the way, but that person never arrived. When we checked out on day 10, system was still down.Lastly, the house immediately next door has a barking dog that made it impossible to enjoy poolside time or time in the backyard. The dog barked incessantly until evening, when the owner returned home.Overall, we were not impressed with this house.

Great Location

The house was in a great location. It feels like you are on a private beach. The pool was great for the kids. You can surf right out the back door, or walk about a half mile down the beach to Playa Grande for an even better surf break. There are 3 or 4 restaurants in Playa Grande that are a short drive away. You are also about 25 min from Tamarindo. Overall it was a great stay and we would come back. Can't beat the location on the beach.

Wish we stayed longer!

Wonderful wonderful place!!! The beach is so beautiful and quiet. We had a private chef in to create a scrumptious meal. So comfortable and clean. We really can’t say enough good things about this rental- excited to come back!

Amazing!!!

Our stay was one of the best experiences I’ve had. The house was absolutely amazing. Everything was clean and ready for use. The decor also gave it a very modern/bohemian feel and I loved it! The beach was clean and felt very private. While sitting pool side, we could here the sounds of the waves crashing and it was very relaxing. Tony, the concierge was easy to communicate with and helpful in every way. He recommended restaurants on the surrounding towns to try and they did not disappoint. For anyone who stays at this property and want to eat out, try Pots and Bowls, we had it for breakfast and it did not disappoint. We also had the chef service for 3 dinners and the chef was amazing and a one of a kind experience. Highly recommend this place.

Costa Rica Getaway

We had an absolutely fantastic time on our Vacation. The Playa Grande house is simply outstanding. As someone else said, the pictures don't do it justice - the house is just so nice. The pool was perfect, and the quick walk out to the beach from the back gate was amazing. The beach is perfect. And lastly, we cannot forget the amazing service from the Concierge Tony. He arranged numerous activities for us during the trip. He did all the work - all we had to do was tell him what we were interested in. He also provided great suggestions! Sunset catamaran and the private dinner chef were amazing and absolutely the highlights of our trip. Tony went out of his way to make sure we had a fantastic time. Everything was taken care of. Can't wait to return. I've already recommended this property to friends!

Wonderful vacation property

We had the pleasure of staying at this stunning beachfront property that exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment I arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the location and the luxurious amenities that were available to us. The house itself was gorgeous and well-maintained that featured stunning ocean views from every angle. Inside, the decor was modern and tasteful, with comfortable furnishings and high-end appliances throughout. The spacious bedrooms were equipped with comfortable beds and plush linens, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day at the beach. Speaking of the beach, the property's location right on the water was truly unbeatable. We spent hours lounging in the sun on the pristine sand, listening to the waves crash against the shore and feeling the ocean breeze on the skin. It was truly the epitome of relaxation. In addition to the beach, the property also had a fantastic pool area that was perfect for taking a dip and soaking up some sun. There were plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas available. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff at the property. Everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure that we had everything we needed to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. From the moment we arrived, we felt like valued guests. Overall, our stay here was a truly wonderful vacation experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. The stunning location, top-notch amenities, and exceptional service all combined to make it an unforgettable trip.

Christmas break 2021-22

The property is an out of the way beauty! If you want to be in more of a secluded area without the hussle and bussle of a million people this is your house. Pool and beach were great. House was clean and beds and pillows were great. Tony your host will help you with all your activities and dinner reservations. "He's kind of a big deal around there!!" Only thing keeping this from 5 stars across the board were the amenities, beach towels were thin and wispy, we had to make @ 10 pots of coffee a day because it's a very small pot, and the beach chairs were cheap for what we paid for the house. Would be nice to have some bikes to take a ride as well. Other than that I would highly recommend Casa Tres Cocos!!

Beautiful home with a private beach

The house was perfect! It had plenty of room for our 9 people. The kitchen was well stocked and even had condiments there. The pool and beach were easy to access and the house provided Turkish towels. Our favorite was the outdoor living area and we didn’t most of our time there. The area is also nice with a grocery syore and several restaurants within a few miles of the house. Tony was very helpful setting up activities and checking in on us. Wonderful vacation!

Pure Paradise

We had a pleasure of staying at the villa for a weekk recently. Our stay was an absolute pleasure. Located in the amazing location right on the lovely, scenic shore of Playa Grande. The villa is in a very quiet neighborhood, quite spacious w great indoor and outdoor area as well as charming patio, large pool and whirl pool and good choice of bedrooms for both adults and kids. Amenities are very satisfactory and management is very accommodating. The house is very secure and made us feel safe. We are very happy with our choice and will surely be back on our next visit to CR.
