Children slept on floor in this day and age....!

Arrived at the hotel and no Family room available to us as per our booking of 2 x adults and 2 x children (both aged 10). As we had travelled for over 5 hours had no choice but to take the Double Room offered and the children had to sleep on the floor - with no bedding / pillows / put me up beds etc. made available. No milk was in the room for refreshments and upon asking at reception was told that none was available to us......?! Set in a quiet and stunning location in Caernarfon - however, with a similar hotel within a short distance, next time I will ensure to book at that hotel and most certainly not this one!

Not extravagant, but good value for money

This is a well situated hotel in a new development that is generally pleasant, especially for the price. It isn't extravagant in any way, so if you're spending a lot of time in your room, this may not be for you. Also, WiFi is horrendously expensive, but there are several cafés/restaurants around with free WiFi available. Overall, OK hotel with good value for money.

Perfect location on a budget

Set in a perfect location for exploring all Caernafron has to offer. Although there is no restaurant or bar in the travelodge itself there are some good breakfast/dinner places just next door.

Positive report on Travelodge Carnarfon

Hotel comfortable & staff very friendly & helpful.Close proximity of two very good restuarants also a big plus especially to someone like me who is disabled.Loads of room in the disabled room.Access very good.
