The Pullman is spotlessly clean The staff are wonderful can’t do enough to help The only downside was the pool area is being replaced so there’s no pool and I feel we should of been told this as we would of stayed somewhere else I feel we should of been offered some sort of discount for not having a pool We were told we could use other pools around the area and they would pay for an uber but it’s not always something you plan sometimes you just want to nip down for a swim for half hour so waiting around for an uber is not always convenient

I booked this hotel primarily for its advertised swimming pool. Unfortunately, after completing a non-refundable payment, I was informed that the pool was under maintenance. This crucial detail was not disclosed prior to booking. Upon raising the issue, the hotel updated their listing to reflect the pool’s unavailability and adjusted the price accordingly—actions that should have been taken beforehand. Additionally, the room view did not match the descriptions provided, which was another letdown. Overall, the lack of upfront communication and the discrepancy between the advertised and actual amenities made for a disappointing stay. I hope the hotel improves its transparency to prevent similar experiences for future guests.

We ended up at the Pullman Cairns International after a horrendous night at the Mercure Cairns and it was a huge relief. Professional and friendly staff. Amazing location. Clean and spacious, not much to fault.

Loved our stay. Walking distance to great food, esplanade and easy to book tours etc. If staying recommend Heather's Private Transfers and Tours. She picked us up at the hotel and was our private guide for a trip to Paronella Park. .. stopping off at Milla Milla Falls for a swim. Wonderful time.

Disappointed that we went told the pool and spa weren’t available at the hotel, they gave you the option to go across to the hotel over the road or to the there other hotel to use there pool. I chose this hotel for the pool and spa. I would have book another one if I’d known so I didn’t have to walk somewhere else. No discount was offered for the inconvenience. Very poor of the hotel not to even tell you when you checked in either.

Was not informed about the pool being closed which was disappointing as we were there for a relaxing holiday. No balcony furniture, no bath robes, room smelt musty. 3 star at best, definitely not 5 star. Wasted 5 day break, never again.
