Set on the Silver Coast, (Costa de Prata), Foz do Arelho. Overlooking Obidos lagoon & the Atlantic Ocean, on an elevated ridge, with breath-taking, panoramic views of Obidos Lagoon and sea from a large private south-facing terrace.
On a small secluded condominium with swimming pools, free tennis court (rackets provided) and children’s play area. Our penthouse apartment is on a quiet Private Road with plenty of parking, providing easy access to our front door, that is only 7 steps above the footpath.
It sleeps 6-8 in 3 Bedrooms, (a double, a twin bed and a large attic room with a double and twin beds) and 3 bathrooms. A fully equipped fitted kitchen including; dining table, chairs, washing machine and dishwasher. Off a large hall and sitting room that opens onto to a large sun bathing and dining terrace. Tastefully furnished as our holiday home. Meo Free Broadband system, International, British and Portuguese TV channels, enhanced by vpn. The internet can connect you to your own personal TV service provider like Sky Netflix or Amazon. We also have books, games, bluetooth music player, DVD Player, DVD's and PS2 with games.

The shared swimming pool (15m x 7m) is set in well-tended grounds and gardens adjacent to the children's pool and play area. The synthetic grass tennis court is only 30m from the front door and is free for guests use only.
Foz do Arelho village is a third of a mile away. Beaches. The calm, clean, salt water, Obidos Lagoon is a short walk and the Atlantic surfing beach is less than three minutes in the car.
Activities nearby; golden sandy beaches, surfing, sailing centre, hobby cats, dinghies, wind & kite surfing, paddle boarding, fishing and four world class golf courses (Praia del Rey, West Cliffs, Royal Obidos and Bom Successo can be seen across the lagoon).
Culture & Entertainment. Nearby is Foz do Arelho village with a range of restaurants, great sea food, beach bars and shops. Obidos, is a beautiful walled mediaeval town (8 miles), Caldas da Rainha a spa town, with shopping and a thriving market (5 miles), Sao Martinho do Porto, a resort on a horse shoe bay (9 miles), Europe’s largest stunning Buddha garden (15 miles), Wine Trail, Peniche a large fishing town that regularly hosts the World Surfing Championship, The Berlingas Islands, Fatima, Sintra, Coimbra and of course Lisbon.

Maison bien située, une jolie vue, un accès facile. Une piscine agréable. Nous encourageons les propriétaires à davantage prendre soin de ce qui pourrait être une charmante demeure : la propreté est à renforcer (vaisselles sales ou douteuses, serviettes de toilettes tachées), une odeur desagreable à l'étage, du matériel en désuétude (transat cassé)...

Sehr schönes Appartement. Viel Platz und super Ausstattung (Küche, WLan, Einrichtung, Tennisschläger, Pool etc.). Alles da, was man brauchen könnte. Der Blick vom Balkon Richtung Foz do Arelho ist ein Traum. Man ist mit dem Auto in 5 Minuten unten und am Strand. In den Sommerferien muss man allerdings damit rechnen, länger einen Parkplatz zu suchen. Wir wurden vor Ort persönlich empfangen und eingewiesen, was sehr angenehm war. Die Kommunikation mit Agent vor Ort und den Vermietern war einwandfrei.Ein Sterm Abzug, weil leider die Sauberkeit (insbesdere der Böden und Küchenschränke) sehr ausbaufähig ist.

Heel mooi huis met super uitzicht

Het is heerlijk ruim huis met een fantastisch uitzicht en een heerlijk terras. De tennisbaan en het zwembad zijn ook super. Je zit vlakbij het strand en een mooie baai. Lopen naar het strand vonden wij net wat te ver. Een auto is praktisch. Wij vonden de zee in juli nog erg fris. Het huis was boven wat stoffig- het beddegoed was niet superfris

Ausblick und Lage

Schöne große Terrasse mit grandiosem Ausblick. Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer war sehr freundlich und sehr schnell. Hilft, wenn möglich, auch bei Sonderwünschen. Schlüsselübergabe für uns perfekt. Das Haus hat und kann alles was es soll. Wie beschrieben. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Very good experience!

The house was exactly as described. Great location, in a very quiet neighbourhood. The balcony has a beautiful view over the lagoon and is ideal for family meals. The pool and tennis court are a great bonus! Neil and Maria are very good hosts, always very approachable and easy to communicate with.

Casa agradável e apetrechada com o essencial para uns dias de férias em família, embora faça falta uma máquina de café. Como ponto alto, tem uma varanda simpática, espaçosa e com vista bonita sobre a Foz. Já a limpeza da casa é medíocre e o material de limpeza disponível é velho e sujo.

Allt funkade jättebra! Lugnt och fint ställe, lite backigt men fantastisk utsikt från uteplatsen. Fina utflyktsmål i närheten och stranden är ju helt magisk! Kommer gärna hit igen.

Die Wohnung hat unsere erwartungen übertroffen, alles da und mehr, was man braucht.

Die Wohnung bietet einen fantastischen Blick über die Lagune und zum Atlantik, man kann das Rauschen des Meeres hören. Die Terasse ist wirklicht rießig und es macht spass dort morgens gleich zu Frühstücken. Die Zimmer sind groß und gut ausgestattet. Zu jedem Schlfraum gibte es ein separtes Bad. Die Küche ist hat einen großen Esstisch, falls es mal stürmt. Der Ort und die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nur Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Ideall für Ausflüge im Norden von Portugal und nur 1 Stunde von Lissabon oder 2 Stunden von Porto entfernt. Wir können es nur Empfehlen.

Location à éviter. La vue admirable ne compense pas tout!

Propriété équipée avec d'un mobilier vieillot. La terrasse avec une table et des bancs d'un autre âge. La propreté de la cuisine n'est pas digne d'une location de ce type(le four n'a pas été nettoyé depuis des années!). Les combles ne sont pas pratiques à cause d'une hauteur sous plafond très basse et la salle de bains dégage une odeur nauséabonde(égout). Le wifi n’est pas compris dans la réservation.

Excelente casa

A casa está muito bem localizada, as imagens demonstram a vista incrível que se vê da varanda mas ao vivo a vista ainda consegue ser mais bonita!! A piscina era incrível e a casa possuía tudo o que se pode desejar para passar umas boas férias. Tanto eu como os meus amigos adoramos a estadia e tencionamos voltar brevemente. Obrigada!!
