Come stay at a quiet room with plenty of space to move around. The kitchen is shared with the house, but the second floor living room is just for guests. The full and half baths are shared with guests only.
It’s not a great location for Ubers, but access to the train is not far away. Easy access to the mountains and the downtown is still just 20 minutes away, if you have your own vehicle.
This is a quiet peaceful place to stay while you visit the city or mountains!

This place delivers exactly what's promised - a clean, quiet room at hostel-level pricing with more comfort and privacy. The space was tidy with all basics covered including bathroom amenities. The host was particularly helpful when I arrived late (10pm) and had trouble with the electronic locks, and even let me park in his driveway when street parking was tight on garbage day.
Two things to note: parking can be challenging on garbage collection days, so communicate with the host beforehand if needed. Also, flies and mosquitoes are everywhere in the area (not the host's fault - it's the street or even the city in general), so move quickly when bringing in luggage and opening/closing doors.
Overall, it's a solid no-frills option that's great value for money. Would stay again.
Ryan is a great host. The house is very nice with everything you need. The bed was super comfortable. The house is air conditioned (which is rare) and everything you need is very close by. I highly recommend staying here and this will definitely be my first choice when I’m back in Calgary. Thanks Ryan!
