Do not get fooled by the pictures on expedia. The hotel is very old and has the old property smell to it. Highly disappointed by expedia trying to lure clients by showing the property as a brand new

Always love staying at the Hotel Arts. Excellent location to be in and excellent staff. My one issue on this trip was that my wife and I made reservations for poolside to relax and our server brought us our drinks but and a menu and didn’t end up returning to take our food order for 30-40 minutes so we decided to leave but we watched others who came in after us get served with drinks and food in that time span of an hour we spend there total.

Noisy all night

Checked in and the aircon was on and it was loud but thought nothing of it. Left to watch the hockey and arrived back and turned the AC off to which the noise did not relent. Even with ear plugs up, it was too loud to sleep. Spoke to reception who informed me that it was normal (100% isn’t) and there was nothing could be done. When I spoke to a manager, he put us in another room for the night but there was still a noise from the AC unit. If you’re a light sleeper (or a heavy sleeper) this is not the hotel for you.

The service is abysmal

Nice room but the service was horrible. Had to talk to guest services 3 times to get a pair of champagne glasses. Waited 1/2 hour, in a nearly empty bar, to get service ... even though there were waitresses walking around and looking at us. Ended up having to go up to the bar ourselves and ordering. The next morning we ordered coffee by the pool. Spoke with the waitress twice. After 45 minutes we left because nothing was coming. Definitely won't be staying again.
