To ensure a peaceful, enjoyable stay for all guests and to maintain the quality of our home and neighbourhood, we kindly ask that the following house rules be respected at all times.
Respect for the Home & Neighbourhood
- This is a quiet, peace-loving residential neighbourhood. Guests are expected to respect neighbours and comply with all City of Calgary noise bylaws, including quiet hours after **10:00 PM** nightly.
- Outdoor parties or gatherings are not permitted. Indoor celebrations are welcome provided the home is treated with care and quiet hours are respected.
- No loitering over or near neighbouring fences.
- Only registered guests are permitted on the property unless prior approval has been granted.
- The maximum occupancy listed on the reservation must not be exceeded at any time.
Smoking & Pets
- No smoking or vaping of any kind is permitted anywhere on the property, including indoors, outdoors, driveways, decks, yards, hot tub or sauna areas, or within the fenced perimeter.
- No pets permitted.
Cleanliness & Waste Disposal
- A maximum of **2 garbage bags and 2 recycling bags** are included per reservation.
- Please use the secure, lidded garbage and recycling bins provided. Any waste exceeding the included allowance must be disposed of by the guest or will be subject to an excess garbage disposal fee.
- No littering of any kind on the property or surrounding areas.
- No cigarette butts anywhere on the property, driveway, yard, or over neighbouring fences.
- Proper waste disposal is required to remain compliant with city bylaws and respectful of neighbours.
Property Care & Damages
Please treat the home with care. Guests are responsible for:
- No moving or rearranging furniture. Please leave all furnishings in their original location.
- Keeping indoor furniture, towels, and blankets inside the home.
- Avoiding wall stains, water damage, hardwood scratches, or carpet damage.
- Preventing damage to outdoor amenities, including the fire pit, BBQ, hot tub, sauna, and pool table.
- Reporting any damage or maintenance concerns promptly.
- Excessive cleaning or damage beyond normal wear may result in additional charges.
Hot Tub, Sauna & Pool Table
- Shower before entering the hot tub whenever possible.
- No glass, food, smoking, oils, soaps, bath products, or chemicals in or around the hot tub.
- Please replace the hot tub cover after each use and do not adjust equipment or temperature settings.
- Please turn the sauna off after use.
- No food, drinks, or glass inside the sauna.
- No food or drinks on or over the pool table.
- Do not sit, stand, or place heavy objects on the pool table. Please return all accessories after use.
Parking & Garage
- Parking is permitted only in the driveway.
- No garage access is permitted at any time.
- Do not block garage doors under any circumstances.
- No large trailers, commercial vehicles, or obstructive equipment may be parked on the driveway, as this violates neighbourhood standards and may result in bylaw enforcement.
Check-In & Check-Out
- Unauthorized late checkouts may result in additional fees if they delay cleaning or impact incoming reservations.
Guest Verification & Safety
- Government-issued photo ID (driver's licence or passport) for the primary guest is required and must be submitted a few days prior to arrival for verification.
- Outdoor security cameras are located at the front entrance, patio, and back entrance for safety and property protection. **There are no indoor cameras.**
- Please ensure all doors and windows are locked whenever leaving the property.
Failure to follow house rules may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund, additional cleaning fees, or damage charges, as permitted by platform policies.
