We had a wonderful stay in this charming village of Jardim do Mar. The location is perfect. Restaurants are just a short walk away, and for groceries we recommend shopping in advance at Pingo Doce in Calheta, which has a great selection.The village boardwalk is beautiful; walking to the far end offers stunning sunsets and breathtaking views of the cliffs. On the opposite end, there’s also a spot for swimming in the ocean.We had planned to do a short hike within walking distance of the property, but unfortunately it was closed during our stay.One thing to note: parking is only available in the public lot, about a 5–10 minute walk from the property.We definitely recommend this place!
