Hotel has seen better days...

I booked specifically to have a pool, and the pool was closed due to contamination. The photos on the hotel site showed a refrigerator in the room which I counted on, and there was no fridge. The interior and exterior are shabby. Room was clean and staff were helpful, but I suggest to check amenities before booking.

We did not even end up going to the room, we let the reservation go and lost the money. I know it's a Motel 6 so expectations are not high however this is in a nice area so it should be decent. As we drove around the property there were people too many people just hanging out in the middle of the day on either the walkways on in the rooms with the door open. Staff was friendly but contributed to the overall poor feel of the place. I guess driving around the property the word scuzzy comes to mind. Did not feel comfortable letting my daughter and two grand children stay there.

Cant give zero stars sadly. I have been to many Motel 6s and this one is pretty bad. Floor way dirty. You could hear the springs in the bed when you sat on it. Didnt spend the night went down the road instead. Im done with Motel 6. This was there one last chance. Failure.

There were railing only on one side of one set of stairs. There was not a security lock on our door. It had been removed. Some kind of loudly humming machine came on and off during the night. Person that checked us in was very respectful and pleasant.

Worthy of a good review

Very nice little motel and very pleasant staff, it’s a real shame the Swimming Pool was out of service because it looked inviting and perfect weather to use it.

We were pleasantly surprised with our room. We had a wuick checkin and the room was a nice ground-floor room clise to the swimming pool. The room was neat and clean. Other than a few places that need touchup paint on the wall, we were well rested. The shower/tub drained slow.

Only real down side was check in. I walked in, and the lone receptionist kept texting on his cell phone. Even while going through the check in process he kept stopping to reply to his texts. Super unprofessional and inattentive.

Decent place for the value

Staff was friendly and helpful on the phone and in-person. Room and property are very clean. Location is super convenient and surprisingly quiet considering the proximity to street and freeway. The room was exceedingly small for 2 beds. Mattresses seemed a bit hard. There was no refrigerator as there has been in previous stays and in photos. The pool looked great but was closed with a sign from the county. Parking spaces are very tight. Overall, a decent place to stay at this price point.

When I checked into the room, the cleaning staff forgot to empty the trash so ours was full of beer bottles and who knows what else. I called the front desk to have them empty it but they told me the cleaning staff wouldn't be back until the next morning.
