Wonderful home in which to stay. Iâd happily stay longer if I could. Very clean. Attention to details was nice; Kleenex, paper towels, wonderful keurig coffee set up, laundry facility with detergents. I even found a small first aid kit! Iâm biased for older homes with the woodwork and doorways and separate rooms. My title is such because my stay was during the storms hitting the area. Rain, thunder and fog and flooding. Home is a peaceful, solid respite. Host was quick to answers my questions and very helpful. Kitchen large and well stocked. We had several family dinners in the dining room. I really enjoyed the separate spaces. The Town Square is only blocks away and there are some cute shops and a great coffee shop, 1822. And Mallards restaurant was also good. Walmart close by for any supplies I might need. Good location overall.
The house was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. I especially enjoyed sitting on the porch swing to read. We hope to stay there again on our next trip to Huntingdon. Cassie was a wonderful hostess.
I was there because i use to live in the area and this was the perfecrlt place to stay. Close to everything. Allowed me to visit and not feel like i was a intruding on family. Was a million times better than a hotel. The house was very cute and i loved the old charm of the house.
This was my first trip to Huntingdon for work. I found this lovely home on VRBO, and the process was quick and straightforward. The house was spotless. The only thing that was missing on this trip was my kids! They would have loved staying in this home for a couple of days! I would recommend this home to anyone for business or pleasure! I will get this same home the next time I am in town for business! Thank you.
Overall good place to stay. It is clean and has lots of games and puzzles for children. Beds sleep well. If i could suggest 1 thing it world be at least 2 good pans to cook bacon and eggs in...We always cook breakfast. We have stayed here every time we visit family and it is avaliable.
Charming cottage, nice updated bathroom, period antiques were a nice touch, beds were comfortable.
Very nice, convenient to Walmart and dining, try Mallardâs for dinner, some highway noise but tolerable, linens and thick mattress cover for the futon in the living room were appreciated, nice screened in porch with swing, definitely a place I would stay again.
Perfect mix of antique home with modern amenities. Minutes from the town square and the eateries. Everything was spotless and smelled great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for a family reunion. Will definitely make this our home base when visiting family in the area. Thanks for having us!!!
I recently spent nearly two weeks at this charming cottage during my National Guard annual training and the experience exceeded all expectations. It was an absolute sanctuary after long, taxing days - an inviting, comfortable space that truly felt like a home away from home.
The cottage was brimming with every amenity I could possibly need. From a fully-equipped kitchen, allowing me to cook up homemade meals, to a cozy living space perfect for unwinding, every detail had been thoughtfully curated for comfort and convenience.
Furthermore, the host demonstrated an exceptional level of hospitality and commitment to ensuring my stay was stress-free and enjoyable. Their communication was outstanding, responding promptly to any questions I had, irrespective of the time. They offered local recommendations, helpful tips, and were always just a message away, fostering a sense of care that truly sets this accommodation apart.
This cozy cottage not only provided an idyllic retreat but also a warmth and personality that made my stay all the more special. I would highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a stress-free, comfortable, and enjoyable stay, be it for work, training, or simply a break. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here and I am already looking forward to returning. Five out of five stars without a doubt!
It was a very enjoyable stay. The house was very nice loved the original look and feel of the house. Everything was close by it was close to our friends house and all the other activities we had planned. Thanks to Cassandra for making it available we really appreciate it. Thanks again.
Perfect cottage home for our stay in Huntingdon, TN. The location was close to town. Loved the updated bathroom and the period furnishings. The home was just what we needed since we were traveling with my father. We enjoyed spending our evenings together playing cards around the dining room table. Still didn't get to enjoy the rope swing. But, that just gives us another reason to stay here again!
The property had a perfect location to town. It was clean and comfortable. I lived that husband never could get the TV apps to even show up. The kids lived the swing. The beds sleeps well and the air conditioning was perfect . If they was some improvement it would be have someone spray for outdoor bugs and sweep down the cobwebs. We cook breakfast all 3 mornings as we have 4 kids and it is just easier in this small town, so a couple of skillets that stick would be great. But overall definitely a 9 out 10.
Super cute little cottage perfect place for me and my husband to stay while visiting family and have our own space to work, make meals, laundry and nice soaker tub to unwind. Close to town and had everything we needed. Hostess responded quickly to questions.
We had a wonderful stay at Cassie and Brian's cottage. What a beautiful place! Since we were traveling with my Dad, it was great to have a house with separate bedrooms rather than two hotel rooms. Cassie was so nice to let us stay another night and check on whether our power was still on during the ice storm that hit the area. A very pleasant experience. We will return again to check out that rope swing!
