I have to say that the Island View Inn was the cleanest, and best maintained hotel we stayed in during our recent week long trip to Maine. The view was great, the quality of the hotel is just a step above any other from that trip. I Can't compare it to others in the Rockland area, since we didn't stay in others, but compared to other locations in Maine, the quality and value was a level above those in similar or even higher price range. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Short stay since our flights were delayed and it was a stop on our way to Acadia. The front desk was accommodating for the after hours check in and it was the perfect spot for a coastal stay! Room was great, bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean! Thankful to have found this place fairly last minute. Would love to stay again!

I do not usually leave reviews but this place is wonderful! The rooms are so nice and the attached sun room is perfect. It is thoughtfully decorated and the furniture is all comfortable. Highly recommend.

Our only regret is that we didn’t find this property until later in our week in Maine. Facility is well maintained and immaculate! Staff was attentive and made us feel at home and welcomed. When we go back to the area we will use this location as a base camp for our stay. Highly recommend!
