Perfect location for a visit to RRG! The boys spent a day rock climbing, and my daughter and I enjoyed a few hikes. The cabin is clean and well furnished. We would have enjoyed the large porch more, but it was so hot. Definitely want to come back in the fall!

Great Stay

This is by far the BEST home we have ever stayed in with VRBO over the years! It is well kept, plenty of space, as advertised and while there are other cabins nearby, you really can't see them and you feel like you're alone in the wild! Location is great! The scenery is great! Sitting on the expansive deck and enjoying nature is relaxing! Definitely would book again if ever in the area again!

Red River

Property is great, nice and clean and well stocked. The property sits on beautiful forest land in the heart of the gorge. Close to all the major activities, and hiking. One word: bring your own food and bring enough to last. Isn’t much in terms of amenities nearby. I booked for that reason though.

Red River Gorge family vacation

In planning a last minute summer vacation for my wife, our son, and my in laws, we settled on this cabin in the red river gorge area of Kentucky. The cabin was excellent! The perfect amount of space for us and new construction. The location is in the woods, but very close and convenient to many of the attractions in the area as well as restaurants. The host for this property was superb! Very thorough with information. Very easy to get in touch with and was very prompt to answer questions or correct any issues we had. The only issue we had was the drain in one of the sinks had a slight leak. It was corrected within hours of bringing it to the hosts attention. I really can't say enough good things about the property or the host.

Peaceful and Cozy!

Rented the Backroad Beauty for our 13th anniversary. The cabin and property are gorgeous! Enjoyed our morning coffee on the wrap around deck. The beds were cozy with lots of pillows and blankets. Needless to say, we were super satisfied with our stay!

Short family vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. It was just the right size for our family of 5 (children ages 6, 4, and 11 months). We liked that the area around the cabin was wooded and fun to explore. It was conveniently located to the state park and other amenities.

Cozy & Serene in Red River Gorge

My ex-husband, who is still my dearest friend, our 20yr old son and our elderly dog rented a beautiful cabin in Red River Gorge for 2 nights. The cabin was a newer build and was gorgeous! 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a wraparound porch with lookouts into the surrounding forest. Near to most all of the trailheads, cool eateries and shops yet we all felt swept away among the trees. Great fire pit, cable/Roku, open concept living area and plenty of linens and kitchenware. Overall, just a great stay! We hope to return again soon!r

Remote and relaxing

Beautiful surroundings. That location was a bit remote and just when we were looking for. The cabin was wonderfully dog friendly, though we found many of the local trails were not, so just pick wisely. Truly beautiful countryside and a wonderful host. Let them know if you’re coming in late and they can turn on lights for you as the driveway is a little hard to find. Would highly recommend!

Great Location/Awesome Hiking/ Comfortable Cabin

Our experience at this property was awesome. The location was easy and close to a tremendous amount of hiking, the cabin was spacious and comfortable. The deck made hanging out a pleasure with total privacy and quiet. I would recommend this property without reservation.

Beautiful cabin and great location

We stayed at the cabin two full days and three nights. There were 4 adults and one teenager. We had plenty of space. Avery was very responsive to our questions, provided suggestions for what to do while in the area and also restaurant recommendations. The fire pit in the evening was very relaxing. We also enjoyed the seating on the wrap around porch. Beautiful cabin and area.

Beautiful cabin near Red River Gorge

Beautiful, new cabin near Red River River Gorge/Daniel Boone National Forest and the Natural Bridge State Park. Very convenient location to hiking. Cabin is beautiful. Has a wrap around deck on 3 sides. You feel like you're in the trees. There are other cabins in the area but you really couldn't see them and it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. Beds were very comfortable and the sheets were incredibly soft. Kitchen had all the basics, plus extras like a crock pot and a big mixer. She even left a little "welcome basket" with some goodies/essentials. The owner was very responsive to my questions. If we are back in the area, I would definitely seek this same cabin out.

Fall Getaway

My husband and I brought my mother for a weekend getaway. The cabin was beautiful with lots of scenic window views. The trees surrounding the cabin made us feel like we were in a treehouse. The leaves at the Red River Gorge were in peak color. My husband and I hiked several Trails. Avery was a perfect host. She provided detailed information and very responsive to inquiries. I would highly recommend this cabin. We hope to visit again.

This cabin FAR EXCEEDED our expectations!!! A SENSATIONAL wood beauty - open the door, and you can smell the fresh pine! For one who appreciates woodwork, you will be in heaven - the most beautiful place, inside and outside. EVERYTHING you need is there - just bring some groceries, snacks, a good book, a good friend to laugh with, and there you have it!!! Peaceful, tranquil, beaucolic, calming......use any and ALL of these words and THAT'S what OUR STAY WAS!!! This is a GEM!!!! You and yours will NOT BE SORRY you decide to stay here!!
