The pool and slide is amazing and clean! My daughter and I had a lot of fun! My initial room was quite smelly. The front desk attendant quickly moved us into another room, that was just perfect. The front desk attendant was as friendly and helpful! Starbucks and Timmie’s are close by and I felt the area was safe.

The property is quite dated. The hallways were poorly lit. Everything felt dark. For breakfast you had to defrost your own food in a microwave. Wetaskiwin isn't a very nice town. It's better to stay in Leduc or Camrose if you can.

Good clean room

Stayed for a wedding ..room was clean, a bedding and bed was comfortable. The only downside was the ACwas not thermostat controlled but that was minor. Staff was super friendly, check in was easy.

My wife and I spent one night at Sliding 16 lodge and it is a clean, comfortable property in the rural community of Wetaskiwin, Alberta. We were in the area to attend my daughter's wedding the following day and to attend a pre-wedding family party at our future in-laws. We arrived early at the property and needed some time to get ready for the pre-wedding family party at the new in-laws but were informed that there was no way our room could be ready before 4:00 PM. After some conversation I was able to get the support of the front desk manager to ask one of the housekeeping staff to get our room ready by 3:00 PM and my wife and I were able to clean up and change prior to the pre-wedding event at our future in-laws home. A big thanks to the staff. Overall, I would recommend the Sliding 16 lodge. Very clean, large, and comfortable room, a great indoor pool area, and a decent included breakfast buffet. If we find ourselves in Wetaskiwin again, we will definitely stay at the Sliding 16 lodge.

Cozy room nicely decorated, comfy beds, great amenities. Housekeeping checked in to see if we needed anything before our second night. Large breakfast area with plenty of choices. Only downside: the egg & sausage choices were placed out frozen & you had to heat your own in the microwave, often creating a long wait for your turn. Not good if you need to eat & dash.
