28BW from NYC: I booked this resort really last minute because someone posted a TikTok video, and the food looked good—if I'm being honest. This resort is extremely beautiful, and the aesthetic of the room is stunning as well. The staff, let me tell you, whoever trained them did a superb job. Very friendly, very knowledgeable, top-tier service. Not looking for tips, just genuinely doing their jobs, and I appreciate that. But the food is exactly what you'd expect from an all-inclusive resort—nothing more, nothing less. It looked way more appealing on TikTok, but the food was just decent. The buffet was the highlight, honestly. The steakhouse had potential; they were so close, but maybe I’m a harsh critic. The Mexican restaurant... the service really made up for the food; this was their moment to shine, and they failed. Also, all of the food was cold. I hate cold food—I can't wrap my head around that, even if it’s pre-made, just toss it in the microwave or give it a quick torch. Anything! Cold, nasty food is just ridiculous. But the worst—absolutely the worst—was the sushi restaurant. Don't waste your time. The service was phenomenal, but yeah, just don't go there. Every night, we ended up at the buffet, which surprisingly had the best tomato soup I’ve ever had—literally a 10/10. I loved the buffet, and I loved the staff. But let me tell you, the bar? 1000/1000. Top-shelf liquor and they had hookah!
