Great staff from house keeping to food service to cocktail personnel. Large resort so be prepared to walk a bit. Beach is large and there are plenty of beach chairs available but lots of people too😉 Beach drink service staff were very nice however could use more staff so you end up waiting a while for your requests… Able to walk the beach depending on your preference of length. Entertainment every night, so ya have something to do if you’re not an early (night) bird.

I don’t really have anything bad to say, except some of the food wasn’t too good but the steakhouse steaks were really good. They had a lot of options for lunch and the breakfast buffet was really good. The pool areas were amazing and there seems like about six or seven pools and at least least two or three of them were adult only. We booked a room with a private pool and it felt like the pool was heated, but I’m not sure. All in all I would 100% go back. The parties are just so much fun. This place was a 10 out of 10 for sure. It was my birthday and they probably did about three or four things just to tell me happy birthday. Loved it.

Todo bien, tuvimos dificultad en cuanto al servicio de desayuno en el cuarto, pues no atendieron a la solicitud que dejamos pegada afuera de la puerta. Fue un error no pedir una cama king para la familia pues las camas eran pequeñas y no pude descansar pensando que se caería mi hijo. Fuera de eso todo más que excelente, la playa hermosa y la comida muy rica.

We experienced several issues during our stay that significantly impacted our comfort and overall impression of the property. For three consecutive days, we had no air conditioning or hot water, which made it extremely difficult to rest, especially with the constant loud banging and noise throughout the hotel during both daytime and nighttime hours. While the food was satisfactory and the dining staff provided excellent service, we were disappointed by the lack of dress-code enforcement. It was uncomfortable to see some guests allowed into the dining areas wearing inappropriate attire, such as spandex or clothing that was not suitable for a resort setting. Additionally, our interactions with the front desk staff were not pleasant. They were neither friendly nor accommodating, and did not appear willing to address the concerns we raised during our stay. Overall, we were not impressed with this hotel. Having stayed at other Riu Palace locations, we expected a higher standard of service and hospitality. Unfortunately, this property did not meet those expectations, and we would not choose to return.

We stayed at this hotel with a group of friends for 10 days. This is not the first time we are staying at Riu Palace hotel, we love it and every time return to it in different places. The hotel is nice, big and clean, staff is very friendly and helpful, the beach is beautiful, not rocky at all and very safe. We usually don’t use the pools, all of us prefer the beach and the ocean. Food is good, however at other Riu hotels we had better food. Also three of us got really sick from it, we all thought it was the seafood…. The only thing I didn’t like is that during the 10 days stay they didn’t change my bedsheets at all, other than that the room was very clean and well maintained. Will I come back to Riu, probably yes although I would like to try something different.

Room was average for a Palace Resort had no airconditioning, no cold fridge, no hot water for approx 5 nites. Elevators were not functioning at full capacity. The first two nights no air, no cold fridge,no hot water - air came back third day but again no air for 3 additional nights. Very disappointing! They should have backup generators for a property that size! We should be reimbursed for the inconvenience we endured! The buffet area was more like a cafeteria! The speciality restaurants had long waiting times and the food at the speciality restaurants was not good and cold. Steak house was okay Buffet food was not bad but extremely busy Looking forward to talking to customer service at Expedia. Please contact me at +16472978919 .
