There were only two single occupant bathrooms on our whole floor which was a slight inconvenience as people taking showers monopolized these for some time. However, there were more bathrooms a couple floors down and overall our stay was quite comfortable.
This was a really nice and quiet property with great view of the mountains. Kitchen big and well equipped and clean. Staff was friendly and informative. Large living room cozy with a nice library. Only one complaint room was small we were a family of four and booked a room for four and it was very tiny for us. Other than that it was lovely place.
Everything was perfect, thank you for the hospitality. I stayed in boswell east cabin with my family and it was well- equipped. Just bring a hair dryer, and you are all set!
We stayed at Boswell Cabin West and had a wonderful timeâperfect for a group or family of six. The cabin is peaceful and cozy, with no TV but plenty of board games. We spent most of our time on the patio, just soaking in the stunning mountain views. Itâs close to great hiking trails, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome. Thereâs a short hike or stairs to reach the parking area, but itâs well worth it. We canât wait to come back and explore the Grotto and Echo Canyon hikes!
STAY AWAY⊠if I could give it 0 stars I would. I booked the room in March and during my stay discovered that the rooms were 50% off. They would not refund me the difference. The kitchen had an ant infestation, the accessibility was terrible with no hand railing, against code. They mixed up food labels, very dangerous for people with allergies. Toilet paper was always in short supply and we had to go ask for more as they did not replenish our supplies. For such an expensive price per night during low season I expected much more.
Our stay at one of the cabins was great! The cabin was perfect for a few days stay. Everything you needed was there. The view from the cabin was directly towards the Three Sisters and it was so peaceful. It was very hot outside so the rooms got very hot, but Shaun (sp?) was our hero and got us fans & it was just what we needed. I would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful cabin with a common area and washroom on the first floor and two bedrooms on the second. The site is a 5-minute drive to Canmore and about 20 minutes to Banff. I was supposed to receive detailed information about check-in 3 days before arriving but I didn't get that email. It made me a bit nervous about checking in, but everything went smoothly.
If youâre looking for a quiet, scenic place to stay look no further. This place has got to be one of the most beautiful places I have stayed in the Canmore area. If youâre also looking for a place to take a hot shower after a long day of hiking and exploring, then better look somewhere else. Unfortunately there was only hot water that went to the kitchen, not the shower or bathroom area. We went during the heat wave and there wasnât AC (to be expected, youâre staying in a cabin) but also wasnât any fans. Sleeping at night was quite challenging with the heat. Overall I think I would come back if they figure out the water situation.
