I did not want to stick around to find out. I was stuck at the airport for hours and enede up spending $200 to get to the top of the mountain which was dangerous. The taxi slam into a wall. The young lady in charge kept hanging up on my fiance when she was asking them to pick me up. The staff was rude. I was hungry, ordered a meal from tne restaurant which I never received. I was told to go to my room and they would deliver and never did. I'm failing for words to describe this horrific experience. Needless to say, I will stay away from that part of Cap Haitian.

It’s unfortunate that I have to submit such a review for a haitian hotel that should be among those that I have already visited and that show effort to improve service quality on a daily basis. I made a reservation via Orbitz for a superior room, with “Sea view”. When I went there, the receptionist gave me something like a jail room without any view, on anything. After visiting it, I went to her to complain about the room, since it was not what I made the reservation for. I showed her my reservation confirmation email, where the details were clearly mentioned. She agreed that the reservation was correct, but told me that she cannot give me anything else, since what she gave me was what her administration told her to do. I was so surprised and chocked that I made the decision to leave the property immediately and without asking for any reimbursement for the night cost and even for the shuttle to the airport that I’ve paid for in advance. It’s a shame that a property used some organizations like Orbitz, Booking.come, you name it…to promise what they cannot deliver. I’m saddened that this happened and for sure, will never return over there anymore, neither recommend it to friends and family members. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

I had a great stay and wished that I had stayed longer. The views of the city were spectacular and I highly recommend you take photos of the sunrise over the city. The food was excellent and reasonable. The new owner was a delight to talk to and he informed me that all of his electricity comes from a generator since the city does not provide it. Like everywhere in Cap Haitien, constant A/C is not possible so there are times from around 8:00 pm until the morning when it works well. This hotel is a colorful oasis on the hill and a great place to drink a beer and look out over the city. It is a steep grade up the hill but I walked up and down it and enjoyed to e beautiful murals. I highly recommend staying at this hotel!
