Notre maison est une promenade facile Ă  la plage, et vous pouvez vous promener jusqu'Ă  la promenade ou Ă  Washington Street Mall.
Cape May est un endroit idéal pour vélo. Apportez la vÎtre et monter à Sunset Beach ou en ville. Observer les oiseaux à Cape May Point State Park, un paradis pour les ornithologues tout moment de l'année.
Notre maison a Ă©tĂ© construite dans le quartier Frog Hollow de Cape May par Jeremiah Mecray en 1907 et nous appartient depuis 1968. Les amĂ©liorations rĂ©centes incluent une nouvelle cuisine, des unitĂ©s de climatisation / chauffage, une laveuse / sĂ©cheuse, des piĂšces et un extĂ©rieur fraĂźchement repeints, de nouvelles fenĂȘtres et une douche extĂ©rieure reconstruite avec vestiaire.
Cette reposant, confortable appartement dispose de quatre chambres, deux au 2Úme étage et deux au 3Úme étage pouvant accueillir jusqu'à huit personnes, deux salles de bains, cuisine / salle à manger complÚte à manger, salon avec TV, DVD / magnétoscope, décodeur cùble à écran plat, et WiFi gratuit. Un barbecue est disponible à utiliser dans la cour. Nous avons des cordes à linge pour accrocher vos serviettes de plage et un parking dans l'allée ou un parking gratuit dans la rue. Entrée de l'appartement est par un escalier privé de cÎté.
Notre famille partage la Cape May Vacation House avec des hÎtes de location depuis 50 ans et tous les efforts ont été faits pour le confort de nos clients.

Great location! Great house, has lots of charm. Strong A/C in every room. Washer and dryer are very new. A quirk is that they are in the “basement” which is only accessible by exiting the house, going down the entryway steps, and entering a sort of open air crawl space. It’s exceptionally clean for a crawl space - cleaner than mine - but going outside and around was unexpected and required me to change how I do laundry (instead of at night after kids are asleep did it during the day). Not a huge deal but if it was raining it would be a big pain to get down there. The house itself was also super clean - we are used to dirty, sticky floors but this was so clean we could keep our shoes off like we do at home, which is really appreciated!

Great location and wonderful home.

Although there were a bunch of steps it wasn’t hard to navigate at all. We were comfortable and had plenty of space. Excellent location and so close to the beach! The owner and his daughter could not have been nicer! Would definitely stay here again.

Great house!

It was a great house and location to the beach and mall. Very clean and the hosts are very nice/accommodating! The only thing was that we wished the kitchen table was bigger and updated for everyone to be able to sit together. Otherwise it was a fabulous week and plenty of space for everyone!

Great visit!!

We had a wonderful time in this comfortable Cape May home. Location could not have been better-easy walk to beach and shopping area through a lovely residential neighborhood. It had everything needed for our family-beach chairs, well stocked cozy kitchen, beautiful patio, comfy bedrooms. The hosts were quick to communicate any time we had a question and were a pleasure to work with. Lots of stairs-so may not be appropriate for everyone.

The property is exactly as pictured and described. The stairs weren't as crazy as some other reviewers have commented, and we had 2 babies under the age of 2. The location was ideal, close to the beach and town!

We had the most wonderful week in this rental. The AC is amazing and kept the entire unit crisp and cool during the heat wave. Very clean, very responsive and kind hosts. Steps up to the unit are not as bad as some reviews state in my opinion, even for my older mother with knee problems. Perfect location close to the beach and town center. Beautiful outside area and a lot of parking! Thanks for a great week!

A Positive Historic Frog Hollow Vrbo Stay

This was our first Vrbo stay with family and everything worked out just fine. The house is very charming and we had plenty of room for all eight of us. The listing is accurate - there is a climb to get into the apartment, so you will get your steps in for the day when loading in and out. The kitchen/dining space was a bit tight when we all sat down to eat, but we cooperated and worked around that one item. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was quiet, and the proximity to the beach was great (and it was a flat walk, only 3 blocks). About 5-6 blocks from the Washington Mall. We would recommend others consider this gem in our favorite vacation city.

Good location central to everything

We had a great family vacation at the property which was central to everything. As advertised, it is on the upper floors, so keep that in mind. a lot of stairs packing/unpacking the car if you have little kids that can't help much.

Well maintained home on quiet street

The entire process from start to finish was smooth, even received a couple of hand written notes from the property owner Wes which was very nice! The house was very clean and well-maintained. It’s 25 steps up from the street to the second floor so anybody with mobility issues may have a problem. Wes and Linda were on site most of the time and were friendly and accessible. It was great to have a washer and dryer in the basement although it’s a little tight getting down into the basement because you have to duck underneath steps and a low doorway but that’s probably not unusual for a home that’s 100 years old. The kitchen is well equipped and we found everything to be in working order throughout all the rooms. It’s about a three block walk to the beach and to the Washington St. Mall. The location is very quiet. There was always ample offstreet parking if you have multiple vehicles. The outdoor shower was certainly a nice feature for after the beach although it is a little tight.

Wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here! We had a little trouble with the AC when we first arrived, but figured out the issue and had no problems the rest of the week. The owner was very responsive. The place was very clean and the kitchen was absolutely beautiful and certainly suited our needs. We realized a gas grill might have been more efficient than the charcoal grill and an area to sit and eat outside would have been nice, but other than that, we had a really wonderful experience and would definitely consider coming back!!

Great Location! Cool House!

819 Benton is a great location for a Cape May vacation! The beach, strolling along Washington Steet Mall, restaurants, historic spots, bike rentals, ice cream, even the Acme supermarket are only a few minutes walk away. The house is a perfect blend of modern beach house and cool Cape May! We had a great week!

Review

The rental process and communication was easy. Only issues were minor....the saloon style doors in the upstairs bedrooms didn't leave for much privacy. The tub in the upstairs bathroom drained very slowly. Overall though, we enjoyed the stay, location, and house. We'd rent from there again.
