Satisfactory, but...
I initially didnāt want to leave a review out of respect for how hard the staff was working, but I eventually changed my mind because this motel could benefit from improvementsāespecially for the sake of future guests.
The inn looks somewhat refreshed, but only partially. I canāt speak for all the rooms, but ours had several issues. The bathroom had a poorly painted tub with peeling paint, and the ceiling showed visible mold spots that had just been covered with a thin layer of paint. Both the bathroom and bedroom had small, dirty windows with transparent tape around them, which looked unappealing. The sofa bed also needed a thorough vacuuming inside.
Another important point: the property was advertised on Hotels.com as having an ocean view. In reality, it does not. A tall condominium directly in front blocks the full ocean and beach view.
On the positive side, the motel is just steps from the beach, has a beautiful pool, and thereās a convenient cafĆ© right on the corner of the building.
I hope this feedback helps the owners focus on needed improvements and advertise the property more accurately for future customers.
