We all had a great time, so many things for to keep the kids busy. Swimming, ping pong, basketball, and many more games for them to play. Property is in a great location close to the island club and the beach, and at the end of a road, by itself so very quiet and private. Sitting area under the house with wet bar, fridge and ice maker got a lot of use. We enjoyed watching the NCAA basketball outside, at the bar. Highly recommend this property, and the unique experience of living on an island without cars. And the management company that takes care of the property is top notch. If we had a question or need they were highly responsive

Absolutely wonderful experience! The house was just what our family needed and the management company was helpful before and during our trip. We spent 10 beautiful days at North Captiva and the house was absolutely clean, well maintained, and perfect! Highly recommend to anyone.

Captiva Stay

Pros:-Easy to get to and from with folks meeting at ferry with golf carts. They even helped move luggage and groceries up and down stairs. (We bought all of our groceries on mainland.)-Large enough for two sets of adults and kids upstairs. The beds were large and comfy for adults.-3 bathrooms-washer/dryer-Pool - management was able to get a pool cleaner when we needed it as well.-Ice maker-All the "extra's" like arcade game, foosball table, ping pong, basketball, etc. Neutral:-Location: The house is in the middle of the island so not on the gulf but walkable / golf cart accessible. I did like that it was the end of the "cul de sac". Some in our party liked this, others wanted to be closer to shore.Cons:-Walls seemed a bit "thin". Know that if one person is up earlier than others, you will be able to hear them in kitchen.-Missing / broken items - this is easily solved but there were a lot of missing / damaged kitchen items. Hoping owner can solve this. When we messaged the management company, they couldn't resolve for our stay but said they would "let the owner know". Examples - live wire coming out of toaster, shelves broken in fridge, lots of missing cups, blenders that didn't work. Washing machine was moldy (normal for front loader).

Great Vacation!

House was superb. Couldn’t ask for better location on the island. House had everything you could ask for. Kids especially enjoyed the trunk full of books. Owner went out of his way to make sure our stay was great. Awesome vacation! Island was great! Island club activities were fun too. Sea Turtles nesting and 1st nest of this season hatched during our stay as well. Shells were super. Went on a fishing charter as well. Loved the fact we were NOT on a schedule the whole time

Perfect getaway for my 50th

We all enjoyed this property so much. There was plenty of room and so many fun amenities. Short golf cart trip or walk to the amazing beach. The communication from the property managers was prompt and always helpful. Can't wait to go back!

Fantastic!!!!

This house has it all. Twin beds upstairs were fantastic and downstairs 2 bedrooms were great. It was a great getaway with friends. Weather was perfect for sitting on beach. The house was one of the best equipped houses I have stayed in with family or friends. Kitchen had everything and well stocked with spices. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely go back! People everywhere were helpful and very friendly.

Beautiful home on a paradise of an island

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be on Gilligan's Island, but not stranded and staying in a beautiful home? This it. The island is a paradise. It's what you would hope an island in the Caribbean to be like, but never is. There are no cars, all the roads/paths are white sand. The beaches are long and beautiful. It's a palm tree paradise surrounded by dolphins. Hidden Treasures is a 4 year old home that is modern and beautiful. Tucked away in the middle of the island on a quiet street. Enjoy the pool, or walk 5 mins to the beach. Enjoy being lost in paradise.

Best house on the island for families

Hidden Treasures is amazing - Memorial Day week

My family of 3 brought my in-laws on their first trip to NCI. This island is truly special and everyone is working very hard after Ian. The island is actively being worked on from cleaning, to construction and removal, this activity in no way affected our serene vacation. Hidden Treasure is a beautiful, well thought out and equipped property, it worked so well for my elderly in-laws with 2 main floor masters. Tortuga management was top notch. We are already looking at our calendars to book again. Thank you for sharing this beautiful island and exceptional home with us for the week.

Perfect Stay

We had an amazing stay at Hidden Tresaure! The property is perfect for families-the house is clean, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need to cook! It also has so much for families to do -pool bball court ping pong table. Everything we needed was taken care of and the property managers were quick to respond if we had a question or request! The house is private and close to the beach. We already booked our stay next year and can’t wait to be back!

Great house!

Overall, we had a great stay! The house was perfect and in a great location. The house was equipped with everything you would need and has a lot of things to do. The only negative was that we were not fully aware of the overall condition of the island after the hurricane. There was only one restaurant open while we were there (Feb 2023) and they ran out of food both times we went. There is a lot of damage and debris on the island as well. However, the house itself and the beaches were great! We would definitely recommend Hidden Treasure and would love to come back once the island is fully up and running again.

Truly a Hidden Treasure

At every turn, this home exceeded our expectations. There was a lot of thought put into this home and it shows! The outdoor spaces have something to offer for everyone. We especially loved the heated pool, outdoor TV and yard games. The ice maker was the icing on the cake! Inside was just as great with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds/linens and high end finishes. It felt brand new and welcoming. Communication with the owner and Tortuga were exceptional. We have rented other homes on the island but this is our new favorite! Thank you for sharing it with us.

Beautiful and comfortable home

We had a great stay at Hidden Treasure. The house was clean, comfortable, and very well appointed. We had everything we needed. The toys, puzzles, and books inside were fun and of course we enjoyed all of the outdoor games and pool. Golf cart worked great and Tortuga Property management was helpful for getting us to the house and helping us with grocery needs mid week. This was our 2nd visit to the island. The beauty is understandably somewhat diminished since the hurricane with piles of debris and lots of construction happening. That was expected but also somewhat disappointing. Also the little store at Mangos was closed so check to see if they will be open before your stay if you’re planning to pick up items there. We were glad that the island is still standing and that we were able to come. Hoping in the next few years things are looking back to “normal.”

Beautiful new home with everything you need

This was our fourth visit. We love NC and wanted to support the little islands recovery. We knew the reservation only restaurants weren’t open but not that the other two had only limited hours. We were able to get a midweek grocery run thanks to Laurie. Best of all we saw our favorite bartender at Mangoes who assured us that everything would be back to normal next week. We still had a great time. The house is beautiful, comfortable, has lots to do like heated pool, basketball, ping pong and games to play inside. We loved hiking the reserve and watching the sunset at night. Great rental and centrally located to everything the island has to offer.

Wonderful time

The house was absolutely beautiful and the location was perfect. The house had everything we needed and more. The pool and outdoor games was wonderful. The owners and management company were great and communication was 5 star. It was me, my husband, daughter, Her girlfriend and my in-laws and the house was perfect for all of us. Awesome house

We’ve stayed several times on north captiva and this was the best. The house is everything you would want, pool, basketball court, blue tooth speakers, poolside bar, etc. The house was clean and the property manager very helpful.

Best house for families!

We've been visiting North Captiva for over ten years. We've stayed all over the island, and this is TRULY the best house we've stayed in. The home is new construction, every detail is well thought out, and the location could not be better. The kid's room is especially amazing! The outdoor space is the best we've seen, and we used it daily. If you're going with kids- this is the place to book. The owner himself visited the island in the middle of the trip to service the dishwasher one afternoon and asked if we thought anything could be upgraded. He brought new kitchen items and beach towels. They really care about their place and their guest's experience. The home and the owner get an 11/10. You won't regret your stay at Hidden Treasures! First family vacation

This was our first vacation as a family with our 3 year old and 1 year old. It was an amazing place to unplug and relax. The house was beautiful, well maintained, and there were tons of activities for both our littles to keep entertained. Within minutes of booking I started to receive all documents to help guide me through the logistical planning for getting to the island. The whole process was very smooth. We are looking forward to booking again in the future.
