Very beautiful house. Had everything we needed to enjoy our week in Captiva. The screened in room on the ground level was a great place to hang out with friends and family. The pool was refreshing and the grill was brand new. The golf cart looked new and worked perfectly. We really enjoyed our time in this house and would rent it again if it is available.

Wonderful!

This was our 7th annual stay on North Captiva Island. I continue to be AMAZED at how well the island has recovered post-hurricane Ian! A true testament to the NCI community!Seashell Escape was absolutely perfect for my husband, me and our dog! The home looks just as advertised and everything was working properly.We barely used the golf cart provided, because the house is so close to the beach! But it is there when you want to explore the interior of the island. It' all beautiful!The private pool was SPECTACULAR! Communication with the staff at Vanage was always on point before, during and after our stay! I highly recommend this house and will definitely stay again!

Beautiful House on an Amazing Island

We really enjoyed our stay here on North Captiva island. The house was spotless and really nicely fitted out. We got a lot of use from the screen terrace as well as the pool and ping-pong table.The location was only a couple of minutes walk from the beach, which was always quiet. After a hectic week in Orlando before, this was a very peaceful and relaxing week. We saw manatees several times, as well as many other birds and animals. Great communication with our host whenever we needed anything, it was promptly sorted. Would highly recommend.

A Home with all the amenities

Pros:We (family of 3) stayed in this home for spring break and loved it. The home is clearly professionally designed and decorated, very well thought out floor plan and every part of the home was efficiently put together. The pool (with related ground level entertaining space) has to be one of the best on the island and we spent a lot of time here. Plenty of well stocked essentials; soap, tp, towels, etc. The included dock slip and golf cart were great adds as we used both daily. The furniture (beds, couches, chairs, etc) were all comfortable; a rarity (to me) for VRBO homes We visited North Captiva with a group of five families, and this rental was the best out of the group of five by a long shot. Hands down, we would stay here again and not even bother to look elsewhere. It is professionally managed, and the management company was extremely responsive and helpful. Honestly, top marks to them as I don't think I ever had to wait more than 15 minutes for an answer to a question I had. Cons:I struggle to come up with negatives for this house as I really loved it, but here it is. In my view it is well suited to a family of 3 - 5, maybe 6 if you push it, but beyond that it would be tight. Maybe I am selfish and like my space, but I would not do two families here. Also, the dock space was tight, we had a standard center console boat (KeyWest 239) and we just squeezed in with our beam. If we had a bigger boat it would not have fit.

Awesome get away!

This home is perfect for a tranquil and peaceful getaway. Clean and very comfortable includes all the perfect amenities. Kate and her team took good care of us. Will definitely come back again.Highly recommend!

Wonderful House

We enjoyed this stay very much! Very comfortable beds and plenty of room to relax. The pool was very nice and we enjoyed turning off the air and enjoy the open house with the sliding doors! We would definitely rent again!

Spectacular Stay

The property is beautifully designed and flawlessly maintained. The location is great and our family (& our two dogs) had a wonderful time. Additionally, the Vanage team is extremely engaged and responsive. When minor issues arose they addressed them quickly and completely. As an example, we had a TV malfunction as a result of a power surge. The team replaced the TV immediately. We were incredibly impressed. This is the best service we’ve ever had at a short term rental. We will absolutely be staying with them again.

One of the most pleasant experience on a vacation

Love, the fact, there’s no cars. Love that the development Of the area kept the natural environment and nature and didn’t clear cut it. If you want some peace and quiet, this is the place to be! I have lived in Florida for many years and was happy to experience this island that nobody ever talks about. You only ever hear Sanibel and Captiva I plan to go back yearly because of the tranquility of the island. The management company is superior to most that I have experience. I give them five stars for that.

Spectacular Island Retreat!

From the beginning you know it’s going to be special. From the charter ferry boat, and concierge services to the amazing”very clean” home! Our stay was everything we wanted. If you want to getaway from it all!!! Then North Captiva is the place. The island is so peaceful with no cars. We enjoyed our golf cart to get around the island and actually took rides every evening for sunset. During the day we relaxed by the pool and had cocktails from Mangos. Then in the evening we made reservations at Over the Waterfront Restaurant. Chef Chris prepared us fresh Triple Tail fish and a seafood chowder that was Bon AppĂ©tit worthy!! We can’t wait to visit again soon. Thank you Vanage Vacation Homes for all the stellar communication and making sure every detail was thought about. You absolutely get 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!

the place is amazing - better than the pictures - the furniture, kitchen amenities etc. are all top of the line not some cheap knock off Funiture quick stroll to the beach, pool was amazing we were very impressed with the thought that was put into the place owner was very accommodating let us check out a little late since it was mother's day

Relaxing Captiva

We loved staying at this property. The house is beautifully decorated and clean. We cooked every dinner at the house and found the kitchen well stocked. This was our first time staying on North Captiva and it’s delightful. We enjoyed the uncrowded beaches and exploring the island. Our kids enjoyed biking around the island and watching the manatees.

Great stay and well thought out

We've rented at least 15 different homes on NCap over the years, and I cannot think of another that was a better experience. The home had the best equipped kitchen, with supplies/equipment/plenty of high end small wares. Additionally, the management team has thought of, and anticipated everything. The home is so well equipped with everything you will need for a fantastic visit. Nearly brand new golf cart. You will not be disappointed with this home.

Secluded Paradise

North Captiva is a beautiful secluded island. Our VRBO, Seashell Escape was only a minute walk from the beach. It was very well stocked and we had everything 5 of us needed to spend the day on the beach; chairs, coolers, wagon, towels, and golf cart to explore the island. Our house managers Kim and Kate were the best! They returned any of our messages promptly and took great care in meeting any requests! They are top notch. Also Deb who shops and delivers groceries is awesome and kept in contact with us from when we ordered to making sure we had everything once we settled into our house. The captains on Island Girl Charter were great. Also need to recommend our Chef Bo from Coastal Eats. He was fantastic and prepared a delicious 4 course meal! This VRBO has a great team to make your vacation a dream!
