I have been staying at BW Marion on and off for several years. Every year, the property maintenance goes down hill. I’m not picky but the pool was in bad shape including cloudy, unfiltered and stuff floating around and the ladder is broken. My bathroom door backseat was in backwards… check out 106. I don’t know who is doing the maintenance but, if you are trying to save money on maintenance, it shows. My grandkids like it there and love the breakfast. The rooms are pretty good but I can tell you are losing business. Dirty pools with broken ladders and other little things start to add up and customers go other places. There used to be families staying at the hotel over Labor Day … everyone would be at the pool with kids… this year there were 2 families.

The shower nozzle was coming apart from the wall. Bed wasn’t tucked in well. AC unit cool light didn’t work. The breakfast was very good with hot and cold options.

As you enter the hallway it smells like mildew. The room also smell I can't describe the smell. The room was so hot and when we started the AC it took so long to cool down. There was a death roach so I don't think they vacuum very ofter. The shower courtain had a blood stain and also one of the towels. The bed was super unconfortable my back and shoulders were in pain every morning.

Great hotel!

Comfortable beds, clean rooms. Breakfast had a great variety. The only negative was that the hallways were not air conditioned.
