Breakfast was poorly stocked. Room was noisy with mechanical air conditioning noises and noisy fridge as well as poor insulation with noisy arguing neighbours both below and to the side! Didn’t manage to get much sleep!

Pre-pandemic, we have stayed at this hotel a number of times before and thought it was great. This time it seems to have gone downhill and it was disappointing. Check in was efficient. The room had a covid clean sticker but it didn't meet covid standards. We switched on the lamp and it was covered in dust so clearly hadn't been wiped down. I have to admit we did get a bit like we were on 'Four in a bed' but there was dust on the tv, along the mirror, dustballs in the corners of the bathroom, and the glass on top of the dresser and cupboard clearly hadn't been wiped down as there were raised ring marks and dust. Dried toothpaste remains were in the sink. The Tv remote had the back missing and the batteries sellotaped in. There was also no bedside table on one side of the bed and the bed was quite high so being short, I had to actually get out of bed to place my tablet and glasses on the floor. Someone's black dress was also left on the chair. Out in the corridor, the skirting board needs to be wiped down to remove the dirt and dust and you could scrape the edge of the carpet and dust balls would form. The table by the lift had sanitiser on it but didn't look like it had been wiped down for quite a while. We stayed on a Sunday night, paid less than £100 so feel it was value for money and the room was spacious. If I had paid £200 which seems to be the standard price for a Sat night, I would have been complaining.
