Great location but rooms are tiny. Pillows were plastic and there was an old plastic bag in our shower. Shower barely worked. It was cheap so I guess you pay for what you get? Wouldn’t stay again BUT if you don’t mind the issues I’ve mentioned the location is spot on. Easy parking. Near to everything.

Excellent staff, absolutely top-notch customer service. We were given room 11 at check-in. It smelled very musty and had black mold on the bathroom ceiling. We requested a new room and the staff gave us a much better room and were so attentive to our needs. The hotel is in a great location in Chepstow. The property is tired and worn but it is tidy and a good bargain for a few nights in the area.

Well placed in the centre of town, this is a popular venue for locals and visitors it seems, with tables outside as well as in. The parking is tight, and the receptionist lovely and helpful when we checked in. We would stay here again.

My only fault with this place is the breakfast, it's £14.95 regardless of what you have, so if you have full English it's that price, fine but if you have egg on toast it's still £14.95, so I had breakfast somewhere else. They are missing out there.

Arrived at 1 and room ready which was a bonus. If stayed again would book a bigger room as not much space. Shower pressure was poor and needed to stand directly under the head, next to the bath taps which was awkward. Lots of noise throughout the night from other guests and sea gulls start squawking very early (I know this can't be controlled by hotel). Bar area seemed nice and staff were friendly throughout the stay,
