The hotel is perfect for contractors, cheap, clean rooms be it some dated, free parking, bar area, restaurant. What else do you want for the price clean room, lovely staff, free gym!! One thing I would like is a new dart board as it’s realty old but still nice to chill in the bar area have a drink after a long shift and throw a few darts

Our family stay.

Check in was fab jack is brilliant very friendly and helpful showed us to our room which were together as had my 2 daughters with us, no heating in both rooms jack brought us up some heaters, but didnt heat up the room as daughters woke up really cold, no wifi either couldnt connect all of us so had to use our data. then went down for breakfast the room hadnt been cleared most table hadnt been cleared of plates etc, not much food choice either as had to wait for items to come out, then overheard from conversation that their was no hash browns or sausages which meant my daughters couldnt have breakfast so that was a waste of money. The male staff member was trying to sort stuff out but their was another member of staff at the reception who didnt help at all just stayed by reception. No one told any of the other customers that their was no sausages etc. We have stayed here every 2 weeks for the past 4 months and its normally fab and have already booked for next time and will continue to book as i think this hotel is fab just for some reason this weekend wasnt the best.

Outdated hotel bedroom clean but poor quality. Electric sockets not working. Poor bathroom soap dispensers not working properly. Very outdated and shabby hotel, cheap but you get what you pay for. Definitely don't stay here unless you have to for no more than one night. The staff were very friendly and helpful doing their best in difficult circumstances.

The one member of staff that was on was very friendly even though he was on his own doing everything it all got done, even pulled a perfect Guinness 👌. Wasnt impressed with the room we had a double which should have been a double/king size bed but it was 2 singles put together. Furniture was old and a bit grubby. The bathroom had a dirty bath so avoided that. The noise at night led to a very restless sleep, definitely needs some kind of noise proofing. Ive rated this trip a 3 purely because of the staff and how polite and friendly they are. Unfortunately because of the other issues we had we wont be staying again due to lack of sleep and cleanliness.
