Holiday Happiness

Great gathering spot for our California, Texas and Colorado family members to share Christmas! The moment we stepped into this welcoming, bright cozy home we knew we were in a slice of Heaven. The large back yard was perfect for our outside dining birthday celebration and the fire pit was so warm and cozy every evening! Just around the corner we walked to the beach to take in the fresh ocean air. The beds were comfortable and e Eryn g was accommodated for. Host was always available and made us feel so welcome. 5 stars all around!

Glassblowing Weekend In Carlsbad

Our friends own Bario Glassworks in Carlsbad and we came to join other family members for a class in making Christmas ornaments. We loved our VRBO house so much we plan on coming back to this same house again. It was clean, well decorated and had everything we could want. We were very impressed and we travel a lot. It’s not easy to impress us. We are all in our 60s.

This was an amazing place to stay! Great location, and friendly neighbors. This home has everything you can possibly need. So clean and organized. I am very picky about my sheets and beds and when I crawled into bed I just melted into the very soft sheets and comfy bed. Definitely a super host and a 5 star experience. I would stay again and again and recommend this place to anyone.

Labor Day Weekend/Birthday Celebration

We had a wonderful extended weekend trip to explore Carlsbad. This home is in an excellent location. There is a Starbucks within walkable distance and the beach is a very doable walk - even with young children. The home was very well curated and the kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens we have ever seen! The mattresses were very firm on the beds (king, king, and queen), so we didn't sleep great, but we had a great time and enjoyed our stay immensely.

Great Beach Getaway

We rented the house for a long weekend. Two couples, with three kids total (1, 2, and 3 year old). We all had a FANTASTIC time. Walkable to the beach. Close to Carlsbad village (would have walked if not for the kiddos). Very family friendly property - tons of stuff for the kids including essentials as well as toys. Very clean. Bathrooms were clean and stocked with supplies. Would love to come back!

Lovely stay in a great location!

Very happy with the home and its great location! It’s in a neighborhood setting but only a few minutes walk for Starbucks Coffee and a grocery store. The house is lovely and had lots of toys and games for the little ones. Bikes were awesome! The property manager was communicative and friendly! My only suggestion would be that the outdoor furniture could be upgraded but that will not deter us from another visit! Thank you!

Just stunning and perfect in every way!

If we could give this house a 6 star rating, we would! Everything in this stunning vacation house is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully set up: there is phone chargers, sound machines, a blender, electric water kettle, glass lock containers.... Lots of things in the garage for family trips to the beach and even yoga mat and weights for a workout. Even the laundry area is welcoming! And the host is very attentive and caring. We received personal emails with important information before, during and after our stay. The house is in a very nice neighborhood not too far from the beach and only an 8 minute drive from Legoland. And there is a Starbucks in walking distance :) My family with two little kids and parents in-law were impressed and we would have loved to stay longer!!

We had such a great time! Mari is an attentive and thoughtful host. She provided great amenities and the house is well appointed. My only suggestion would be a room with bunks instead of a queen. We would absolutely book a stay at this location again!

We(4 adults) enjoyed our 2d stay, and found the open layout, comfortable beds and well designed backyard perfect for our gathering. Less than 10m walk to beach is good, and quick freeway access a real plus. Would rent it again if staying in/near Carlsbad!
