Perfect Oceanfront Getaway

This place is unbeatable—right on the ocean with a fantastic patio for reading and watching sunsets. Just a short walk to great Carlsbad restaurants and only a block from miles of scenic beachfront trails. Can’t wait to come back!

Cozy Beach Studio

I had read previous reviews and wasn't expecting the great vibe this place has. Loved the private patio on top of the beach, the bed was comfy, the kitchen small but functional. I did move one chair around to view the TV. Everything was sparkling clean and the view fantastic, of course. You could hear upstair renters but to be expected from an older building. Would definitely rent again.

Management office was horrible in assisting.

The place is beyond cute, and the view is amazing. However, I found the management team at Vacasa to be horrible. They provided awful customer service. To start off, we were locked out of the property for 3 hours after a very long trip. I wrote to them regarding my problem, and a day later, they answered. We stayed for 6 days and had only one set of towels for each person for 6 days, no extra towels. Then, to top everything off, the kitchen sink clogged up for days, unable to cook. Reached out to Vacasa again a day or two later would answer with no help at all. I hope the owner of the property reads this. As I said, the property is super cute, but the management office's is awful. It made my stay in a very beautiful place very unpleasant.

Great location

Perfect spot to enjoy the scenery. The inside chairs were the only thing that didn’t feel clean, but the bed and pillows and the outside furniture were all clean and comfortable.

Chill Beach Condo

Our stay was great, and we enjoyed it to the fullest. We Loved being right on the beach; the nights were great for walks down the coast and sleeping with open windows. The condo was super clean but could use some updates besides that excellent place to stay.

Beach hideaway.

Great single room right on the beach. Quaint, clean and all you need to enjoy time in Carlsbad. Close to town center everything is walking distance. Only down side was no additional towels or paper good for a seven day stay. An offer of mid-stay refresh would be over the top service. Hope they are reading these.

The property was easily accessible and very clean when we arrived. The owner had set us up for success for a beach day, lounging around, or hanging out on the patio to grill and enjoy the views. 10/10 I would stay here again

This place has all the amenities needed to experience a California Beach stay. Older but very functional. Think full access to the beach.. we’ll definitely do again.

Great location but rental a bit run down

We were surprised at condition of furniture for this price rental - cheap plastic patio chairs, missing blinds, worn/old chairs and interior furniture and not nice hair dryer (coated in something). It did say NO AC in listing but should be noted for summer months and reflect in rates only one medium fan made for very uncomfortable nights and no ability to Lock Screen door so couldn’t let air in all day in baking sun. Murphy bed was very comfortable, place was clean and location cannot be best.

An excellent little get-away with plenty of amenities for the two of us in terms of kitchen and patio furnishings. We really enjoyed our few days there ... wish it could have been longer.

Most relaxing beach retreat in Carlsbad!

Getting down all the stairs to the property was a bit daunting, but once you are there and settled, OMG’ it is SO worth every step! We will be back to this spot, and even will request the bottom of the stairs unit. Love love love this place! Highly recommend! â€ïžđŸŒŠđŸ–â˜€ïž

Great Location, listing accuracy low

This place was wonderful, for the most part. The location is amazing. However, there were a few things that were stated in the listing that were not there and a few other minor things. There was no dishwasher, no fan, no fan in the bathroom, the bathroom smelled like mold, the shower and shower curtain were not super clean, the hair dryer had sticky stuff all over it and pieces of paper towel stuck to it, the floor wasn't the cleanest (which I expected being that close to the beach), and the ceiling fan made constant clicking noises and seemed like it may fall off. While I know this seems like a lot, overall they are fairly minor but also I like to feel clean where I am staying. I still recommend this place as the cleanliness is easily fixable and the location makes it worth it.

Beautiful beach view

Small older property, real retro, clean was fine for just us two and being outside most of the time. Recommend changing the hall light from a motion light that stays on for 15 or 20 min at night to a normal light. Great location for walking to shops and restaurants.

Amazing stay!!! Outstanding view.

This property was perfect and affordable with an outstanding view! The owner gave us great local restaurant recommendations and he was beyond kind. You have everything you need to cook your own meals. Also, there are beach towels, chairs and umberlla. You can hear the waves everyday and this is so relaxing when you sleep at night. We will absolutely be staying again. Thank you!!!

Perfect location

Great location. Cozy spot with gorgeous views and accessibility to the beach, restaurants and shops. Property does have folding chairs for beach use and beach towels. This information isn’t available in the listing. Would stay here again!!

Perfect Getaway

I really loved the location of this property, it is literally a block from all of the dining and shopping in Carlsbad. Being beachfront was incredible and the beach is very nice! I loved that they provided beach chairs and a body board, lots of towels and very clean. One suggestion would that there be more than 2 pillows which were not comfortable, I ended up buying a pillow at Target for my stay. Being that it was August, I found it very hard to cool down the unit because there is no A/C. There is a ceiling fan but it is pretty noisy, so at night I couldn't use it. I could not get the floor fan to work. Other than that it was perfect for me. I will likely be back again.
