The staff here were extremely friendly and helpful. The property definitely needs some maintenance, and a bunch of the light bulbs didn't match which drove me a little crazy. We booked this hotel for it's location which is the closest to the caverns and Guadalupe mountains national Park. It definitely delivered on that. If you just need a place to rest and clean up after a busy day of adventures, this is the perfect place for you.

The parking is good, right in front of the room. I asked the staff to change the room from the 2nd floor to 1st floor and she did it without any issues. Very nice and friendly. The room was spacious and has a table with 2 chairs which I liked as it was so convenient to dine in the room. The breakfast was very simple and could have been better. There is one gas station nearby and not very far from the national parks.

Cavern Inn was clean and comfortable with good sized rooms. The location is unbeatable if you are planning on visiting Carlsbad caverns or Guadalupe National Park. The nearby Cactus cafe closes early and is closed completely on some days so plan ahead. The rooms have a fridge and microwave to store and reheat food if you bring it with you.
