Stayed here for a stop on a cross -country trip. Renovated rooms in an older building featuring outside entry to the rooms. The hotel itself has seen its day, but the rooms are nicely renovated, clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Hotel staff were very friendly. Breakfast was fine - some hot institutional choices (eggs, sausage patties and waffle machine), and limited cereal. Parking is easy, and very convenient to I-70. Isolated location minutes from downtown Vandalia. Price was reasonable by today's standards. I would definitely stay here again.
