A beautiful Home-away-from-Home in the Countryside of Puglia

Tenuta del Normanno is the perfect hideaway in a great location. The hosts, especially Alfredo, could not possibly be more helpful and friendly. We loved having the large, open space with three bedrooms to spread out, the many arched windows, and the feeling of a lovely home in an olive grove. The exterior looks like a Norman Keep from the Middle Ages, but make no mistake- inside all is comfortable and cozy! For a quick trip there is a great home cooking restaurant for pizza and pasta in nearby Carovigno called Fantasy. Ostuni is not far, a gorgeous white walled town, and you can easily drive into Brindisi (now a beautiful, open city) or north to Alberobello.

A wonderful house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. The house was clean and comfortably. It sits in a beautiful setting with lots of privacy. The beach is minutes away and the area has lots to see and do. I highly recommend this home.

Gorgeous Property

This was the perfect place for us after some big city sightseeing on a 2 week European vacation. It is near a beautiful beach (15 min drive), close to town for provisions (less than 10 min), but feels very secluded and peaceful. The house is spacious and had everything we needed. We loved the garden so much that we decided to cook and eat there to enjoy it rather than going out. This is a family run businesses. The sister handled the arrangements for booking (all with very clear instructions) and the brother met us at the house. He gave us a nice tour and additional information including beach, market, and restaurant recommendations. They provided us with fresh fruit, snacks, and beverages, which was a really nice touch. I felt truly recharged after our stay. I only wish we had more time there!

Traumunterkunft in einer Traumregion

Auch nach vielen Italienreisen kann man noch überrascht werden. Es begann nach angenehmer Kommunikation mit reibungslosen Flügen bis/ab Brindisi, einem angenehm übersichtlichen Flughafen mit nicht überlaufenen Leihwagenschaltern. In unter 30 km erreichten wir dann schon die Tenuta del Normanno, kein Stau, kein Stadtverkehr, nur entspanntes Fahren. Die Unterkunft ließ keine Wünsche offen: viel Platz, alles bestens ausgestattet, keine komplizierte Mülleinweisung (wie in Italien schon mehrmals erlebt), kurze Wege ins Städtchen mit allen erforderlichen Geschäften, ... und natürlich jede Menge wunderbarer Ausflugsmöglichkeiten zu historischen Orten (Trani, Òtranto, Castel del Monte, Ruinenstadt Egnazia usw.). Wir sind immer abwechselnd zu Besichtigungen gefahren und haben uns im Haus entspannt. Wenn es Problemchen gab, hat Alberto sie sofort gelöst. Besser geht es nicht! Klare Empfehlung von unserer Familie!!

Romantische Oase im Olivenhain

Wunderbar. Absolute Empfehlung! Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gross und hochwertig und liebevoll gestaltet und ausgestattet. Es fehlt an nichts. Es gibt zahlreiche schöne Details und eine Super Küchenausstattung. Der Garten ist wie ein kleiner Park gestaltet mit zahlreichen Bäumen, Blumen und Sitzmöglichkeiten. Das Haus ist mit Wein und Bougainvilla überwuchert, Vögel zwitschern und durch die grossen Bodenfenster und Türen lebt man auch drinnen wie draussen. Der hübsche Ort Carovigno ist nah, viele Ausflugsziele wie Ostuni oder das Meer sind gut erreichbar. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfreich. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
