Everything was amazing at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast food was buffet styled Colombian cuisine, which changed little everyday but was very delicious. The kids always had something to do, and the kids club was something they continuously requested to go back to. At the top of the building there’s a fantastic adults only pool and, a gourmet restaurant with a very ample and delectable menu. The hotel did not have its own transportation, so uber or taxis were sometimes required. However, they do have a contract with a transportation service whom offered spacious vehicles and were very polite. The sea view was beautiful and the beach was normally not so crowded or filled with street vendors as compared to beaches closer to the center of the city. On the other hand, there was the occasional vehicle or motorcycle that kind of used the beach sand as a backstreet. Lastly the hotel is situated somewhat close to the airport, which is both a pro and a con. The drive from and to the airport was smooth and easy but, hearing planes taking off was very common. Overall I would definitely book my stay here again!

Great beach location

Hotel is on a big beach close to the airport. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Our balcony had a nice sea view. We did have some issues with our air conditioner and had to change rooms one evening. Hotel staff helped us move. The breakfast buffet was good. We liked the 10th floor pool and bar (no kids). Great place to watch the planes depart. Also, get a drink with pineapple juice (best pineapple juice ever). We ate at Erre one evening (on 10th floor). The service and food was great but it was the most expensive meal of the trip. We used the activities coordinator in the lobby to book a sunset cruise, which was nice. The one thing that I could say that I didn't like at the property is that there was not a bar that people socialized at night after dinner. It would be nice to have one open until midnight- or even 11pm.

Al hotel le falta mucho modernizar las habitaciones y los servicios dentro de ella; los TV son viejos no funcionan en youtobe fácil debimos llamar a un técnico que solo vino una vez y después ya no hubo quien arreglara; en el Baño ofrecen tina y ducha pero la ducha nunca trabajo; en la parte de los restaurantes usamos uno y en realidad TODO el personal es poco amable y poco cordial al brindar el servicio al cliente, en la cena tarifas altas y comida poco agradable. La atención de la recepción no es muy cordial y el botones que lleva las maletas tampoco ahí que esperar que hable con sus compañeros para que después venga por las maletas. Demasiado decepcionada de la atención del personal de este hotel; piso 10 piscina vista y personal del bar estuvo buena; es lo único que puedo sacar bueno de la experiencia con el hotel las americas torre del mar
