You can definitely tell they are under different owners, we have srayed here before, and the atmosphere is different. A little expensive for what you get. No coffee pot in room, you have to go downstairs for coffee. No conditioner in the bathroom and if your tall or older or have bad knees, the toilets are very small and hard to get up off of. I requested a first floor room because my 87 year old mom cannot walk so good and of corse we were on the 2nd floor where she had to walk down a ramp to the room and up the ramp to get to the elevator. It is long. This will be our last time staying here.
We loved the view from our balcony room! Overall, this was a great place to stay for a couple nights. Layout on the rooms was a little small, but everything was clean upon arrival. Staff were all very friendly and willing to help with any questions we had. We also loved the cookies they had in the lobby every night as an added perk! The breakfast was also good. Was a little loud just being located next to the busy road, but nothing too major. Would likely stay here again if needed!
Clean - classic hampton. No hot water - overheard staff talking about how old the bones of the buildin were and not having maintenance folks to repair the aging building. Hot water system failed and all guests were w/o hot water overnight.
It was well kept. The staff was very friendly. We were in the room closest to the lobby so it was very noisy and they use an incredibly strong air freshener in the lobby so if you're sensitive to smells beware.
The room was great, quiet and clean. Front desk staff was professional and friendly. Right across the street from Cove Lake which has a good restaurant besides the lake, very relaxing. Would stay here again.
