I wish that there had been a table, even a very small table, to put my laptop on. A stand-up light by the armchair would have been helpful for reading. There was no way for me to turn off the outside light by the entry door, and the light came through the transom and made it hard to sleep. A hairdryer would have been helpful. The service was very pleasant, helpful, and cordial.

This property is obviously well-loved and well-cared-for. We met one of the owners and he told us his family had had the property for 36 years. It was adorable, decorated for fall and Halloween, which we loved! Property had a beautiful firepit, which we unfortunately didn't have time to enjoy, but it looked very inviting. Cottage was comfortable, so cute! Room had charming fall decorations, too. Everything worked, cozy and warm, new fridge with freezer, microwave. bathroom remodeled. Great location! . Parked at the door. Storage space in bathroom (medicine cabinet with shelves, shelf over toilet.) Loved the wall heaters (separate one for the bath, something alot if hotels don't have), which kept us toasty warm! Bed comfortable

We were so pleasantly surprised with our little cabin. The manager was exceptionally helpful with her suggestions of going to the grocery store and purchasing meat to grill on the lovely grill at the property!! It was a GREAT STAY!!!

Great Columbia River Spot

This was the perfect spot for one night on our road trip through the Columbia River Gorge. We were greeted at check in and shown around. The property was great for our dog and nice and quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

What a GREAT find at Cascade Motel in the beautiful town of Cascade Locks! We arrived early around 1130am and check-in wasn’t until 3pm. Room was available and were allowed to check-in early. Well appointed cottage and had everything you would need. Owners Scott & Darlene were fantastic, gave us great information on where to eat and where too visit the area… The only downside? We were only there for 24 hours. We definitely will be coming back for a much longer stay. Thank You for your hospitality!!!

We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Cascade Locks! Our cabin was clean and inviting!! Lisa went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Even though we were on vacation my fiancé did not want to miss the Little League World Series. Nevada was in it and we are from Nevada so I cut him some slack, haha! Lisa got us settled in fast and got him hooked up so he wouldn't miss a game! She was very knowledgeable on places to eat and visit also!

The property is an older, rustic place with a lot of charm. Most importantly it was very clean and everyone was friendly, happy and helpful. It’s within walking distance of town and the area is beautiful. We would definitely stay there again.

Exceeded all expectations!

Great location - quietly just on the edge of town and easily walkable. The cabin was very comfortable with plenty of space and the manager was friendly and welcoming. Good AC, fast wifi, nice renovated bathroom, beautiful grounds. Full kitchen with everything we could need. I hope to be back soon!

We only stayed one night so the room fit our needs. Pay particular attention to the photo and description for each individual "cottage". The separate sitting area is in the same room. The picture with a kitchen is not the picture for the individual rooms. We called for a late arrival due to car trouble and were nicely accommodated.

Lisa at the front desk was very accommodating during our entire stay. They called early in the day to let us know we could check in early. They had games at the front desk as well as coffee and popcorn. Highly recommend for your stay in Cascade Locks.

Sweet downhome feel with individual (?) and duplex style cabins. Owner and Property manager were great. Fun addition of corn hole game and fire spot out front. Room was clean and updated with good options for plugs, which is important these days. The cabin we were in was a little tight on space and we would have LOVED a counter top of some kind, maybe inside the "closet" bump out. The small round table just wasn't sufficient nor at the right height for prepping food or eating. Loved the comfy chair. We discovered in the morning that our duplex neighbor had young children who liked to get up early. Walls are thin.

The cabins are super cute, very comfy beds, full kitchens with dining set ice already made in the freezer, ac on before we arrived. Very nice clean bathrooms, Roku TV's, wifi router, staff gave us a quick tour and showed us how to work things at check in. BBQ area, fire pit area, Cornhole area, all out front in the shady green grass. Very nice place close to everything in town but still very quiet.
